TTT didn't take huge leaps and bounds to move the series forward after the juggernaut that was Tekken 3.  It didn't need to.  What it did do was provide the most smooth, streamlined and utterly enjoyable fighting game I'd played to that date.

Instead of moving the storyline forward; it just threw all my favourite characters over the past 5 years together in one tournament.  Getting to play as Jun again was a blast.  Tag-teaming Jun and Nina was even cooler.  Tag-team bowling Jun and Nina was the icing on the cake.

I'm not sure the series ever got better than this.  It got different than this, and improved in various areas but took steps back in others.  I've yet to play Tekken Tag 2, but I don't see any way it can match up to the tour-de-force that was the original.

Oh, and it has one of the best Tekken songs ever, too:

 

Picked this up recently along with Tekken 4 and SoulCalibur II for PS2. Really looking forward to playing it!

No one attempted to answer mine yet, a few pages back so reposting.  Editing to make it a little easier.

Hint for number 47.

After finishing this game, you'll get a better rank.  If you start a new game plus with that better rank, you'll have access to previously sealed off areas and more cutscenes in the main storyline.  Whether it's your first time playing or you're playing new game plus, your rank is told within the storyline itself at the very beginning.

Errr... yours is also vague, lol.

Chrono Trigger?

Maybe Parasite Eve or Vagrant Story.

None of those.

I'll give another hint.  You can do a sort of new game plus in the middle of the game if it gets too hard for you.  A lot of people think it's too hard to finish without doing this.

No offense.  Not even going to put effort in attempting after skimming over each one.  A lot of effort just to find out your 47th favorite game, no thanks.  Less effort just to wait.

I complained about the crossword thing in a post above, and not like I would have got more than one or two of those answers myself.  I'm not sure if I'm right anyways.  Could be wrong.  The only reason I chose Parodius is because Twins, Bee, and Beethoven.  Twinbee is one of the characters and there's Beethoven music in the game.  If I'm not right I have no idea.  So you can still guess on it.

But yeah.  Credit for the crossword should have went to you.

Call it a tag team effort, if you will, because I probably wouldn't have guessed Parodius.
