So GameTrailers is doing a video series capturing the best parts of this last generation of gaming. Episode 1 focuses on around 2006, while episode 2 focuses on mostly 2007 but into the first half of 2008 it seems. I'm not a big GameTrailers fan anymore, but I'm actually enjoying the series. Check it out if you get a chance.

What are some of your favorite memories from this last gen??? As far as early on in the gen like the video series is on, Bioshock, the original Mass Effect, and Halo 3 stand out to me the most. So many great memories from all of those.... You forget how awesome it was to own an Xbox 360 in 2007!!!

I enjoyed it a lot more than their first episode. This one didn't seem to be so damn pessimistic and insulting to every console. The MGS4 bit was very exaggerated however. There's plenty of gameplay in MGS4

agreed on mgs4. i guess it was for comedic purposes.

They didn't talk about any Nintendo-stuff, specifically Super Mario Galaxy so i found it worthless

They seem to be focusing on game experiences that are either innovative or new ips. Mario Galaxy was amazing but nothing really unexpected.
