Target is hosting a nice deal for potential PlayStation 4 owners during the launch week of the system. If you buy two launch games at the store, you can receive a third title for free.
First word of the sale arrived on the PS4 Subreddit, though we caught wind of it thanks to Polygon. Redditor Scotty_Supernova posted the image you see at the head of this post, along with the headline Launch games are going to be buy 2 get one free at Target.
As the image shows, while this is certainly a sweet deal, your choices are rather limited. We just reviewed Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, and it’s a wonderful game. If you’ve been considering it, make it one of your three acquired titles in this deal. Otherwise, the only other super obvious choice is Killzone: Shadow Fall. That leaves Battlefield 4, if you don’t have a gaming PC, or Knack as my other picks. Unless, of course, you dig sports games.
