I wouldn't say post about a Nintendo game is random on the Nintendo nation thread.

I know about that thread and posted there already DKC on GBA is jus graphically bad, as far as the game goes is the same as on the SNES, which is to say, really good.

The post was to get some discussion going you know? I'm on lunch break and I'm bored.

If you want some discussion, then I have to ask: do you have a 3DS?

Because if you do, you could play Donkey Kong Country Returns, which may be the handheld Donkey Kong game you were waiting for... if you didn't play it on the Wii.

I think he wants to play THE Donkey Kong Country on a handheld. Returns isn't the same game, even if in my opinion it's way better.

If by THE you mean the first game on the SNES, then no, I don't think she'll be able to play it. At least not this gen (who knows what will Nintendo do in future gens and the Virtua Console).

Regarding if the Wii and 3DS games are the same or not, the truth is that I don't know. I don't remember the discussions when it launched (this thread didn't even exist back then, lol), and since our site states that it's also available on Wii, I thought they were the same game.

Yes I do mean the original, Returns is great got it on Wii when it came out, would've been exponentially better if I was able to do everything with buttons but fun nonetheless.

From what've heard the 3DS port is kind of butchered, don't have a 3DS anyway, was going to pick up one last year but then the new one got announced so will be waiting for some time.

Although rather than the original Diddy's Kong Quest that one's way better.

Diddy's Kong Quest is the best of the trilogy. imo, it was only recently trumped by Tropical Freeze.

Because Pokémon Snap would be a waste of a game? If you can even call it a  game.

I'd like a good and ambitious game from HAL once, but I'm not sure if they're capable of that.

3D Kirby/new IP or GTFO.
