Ah, thanks for the info. Assuming we're not getting anymore players, since we're pretty low atm, I'll probably just host, then. |
Great. I will send a friend request.

Is it all right if I put you on sign ups?
I can put an asterisk to mark the fact that you might not be able to come.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

They pretty much sent those games out to die. It's a shame too, because I think Wonderful 101 could've ended up being a mid-tier franchise for Nintendo (along the lines of Pikmin or Kirby) if they marketed it correctly. Codename STEAM is a bit more niche, but it should've done way better than it did. But hey, at least they're actually making new IPs, you know?
I think Splatoon is perhaps the most ambitious (new) game they've made since Wii Sports. Well, maybe XC could take that title. Either way, it's really fresh and exciting. It really helps that they're giving it a bundle and an amiibo line too, and they plan on supporting it after launch. But yeah, I hope the Direct clears up the whole private matches thing.
I love how the Xenoblade video was less than 10 minutes long and didn't really revealed anything.
That's the kind of stuff that they should've just uploaded a video, a live stream was pretty unneccessary
cycycychris said: It really frustrates me how little Nintendo marketed W101! The game was amazing and was a master piece. They clearly didn't cheap out on it. Until it came to marketing. I hope every day we will get a sequel, but i know that probably won't happen. i hope Platnium Bayo 2 team moved onto W101 sequel. Then with Coename STEAM (I admitively have yet to buy it... but soon will) they had a A list voice acting crew. I have no idea why you spend so much money on something like voice acting, but no money on the department that sells the game. They didn't even bother to put it in the E3 digital event. They had a little conference that got the game little attention. The bundle is questionable how much it will help, since I don't really know how much of a system seller this is. And how much Nintendo will make of the bundle. for all we know, they might think it will sell little an be one time deal. 30k and then done. But the amiibo line was a given, I honestly don't think they push games though. but it's a nice touch to add. I assume the idrect has probably already been filmed, so hopefully they did cover that. but I have little doubt they would have not covered something like that. |
I've yet to buy STEAM also, but I think I will one day because I enjoyed the demo quite a bit.
I was more speaking in terms of advertising. A game launching by itself can go unnoticed in stores due to limited presence, but if a game launches with both a figure line and a console bundle, that takes up more room in stores that is, essentially, advertising and can help raise consumer awareness of the product. It'll be interesting to see how this affects a new game like Splatoon though, since it's hard to say if it helped Smash at all due to Smash already being such a popular game.
Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities (iOS) is getting an upgraded release on Wii U! Not only with improved graphics, the Wii U version will also support touch controls and possibly extra content.
Here is the launch trailer:

The stream was for the treehouse, which was awesome.

That trailer is quite good. And looks very fine for an ios game. I hope this and Bizerta will be good enough for the genre. Is very nice to see WiiU geting more horror games, by now we have only Zombie U and RE: Revelations , but soo we´ll have Fatal Frame V, Bizerta and this game. Not so bad after all if the games aren not shit
