I was only speaking about the 3D for this thread.  DooM and DooM 2 are WORLDS better than DooM3, and I don't think many people would argue that.  Original DooM is my favorite game of all time.

Assassin's Creed IV on PS4 seems to be the only game to offer 3D gaming. Sony used to push this one really hard and it flopped even harder. So was 3D gaming just a fad / gimmick or is it here to stay?

If there are dozens of games offering 3D experiences just let me know.

What happened to 3D gaming? Same thing that happened to my sex life. It sounded great but when people finally experienced it they weren't impressed. ( ._.)

I would be very interested to know how many people who hate 3D gaming have ever even tried it...Much less on a calibrated large TV. 3D on anything less than a 50 or maybe 46" is total crap.

I know this is a joke but also a bad one.  Avatar is the biggest box office hit of all time thanks to 3D helping it pass Titanic.

I think 3D is a stupid idea and was only a fad for kids to watch 10 year old Disney re-releases.

I really wish all next gen consoles supported 3D gaming. I personally love it.

You should be seeing lots of indies supporting the feature since they usually don't push the polygons.

The big players are too busy right now trying to sell next gen's graphics so no 3D for them. Assassin's Creed is doing it since they use depth mapping which is a lot lighter on system resources yet doesn't look at all as good.
