Always plan for gamers. Xbox, PS or Wii U. All of us. When (directtv?) or apps are first, power second, this is not for gamers. When questions about DRM/online policy are floating around internally and 3D is disregarded.

Because monetization is job one for execs, not for gamers. When you are lied to directly about features, that's not for gamers, period.


I don't know why this doesn't get more attention. I'm personally more worried about this than whether the games are 720p/900p or not. Slightly worse games is one thing, but this sounds like MS is moving away from games altogether. Like this post:

If this is true, it is pretty terrible. It would mean the game focus right now is more of a way to build up an install base for their TV services.

For reviews all versions except Xbone (that what I read).

For the BF4 video footage is for PS4/Xbone because the others already got released

I know it ends then, but do you think JackFrags will pst the vid right away?  Has he hinted at doing it as soon as it's lifted?  I hope so.

Why did you stop?  

Eh kinda got a bit fanboyish, but mostly it was just repeating what I already read on forums. Heck I even stopped following a lot of people on twitter because I know if they say anything big it'll be on forums almost instantly.

Did you watch the video?  The part that interests me is that he implies that he himself was given this information from sources and that if he were to actually name them, we would likely believe them to be true.  That sort of suggests that they're not just some obscure GAF names like mortimer-boat-captain crunch or whatever because the vast majority of people wouldn't know who the hell they are anyway.  It implies that the sources are names (or at least job titles) that people would recognize.

Time will tell, I guess.
