This is a big deal for someone like me who only games using a headset and that headset cost me a lot of money.  This is a bummer.

Little disappointing but I need a new mic really.  Little upsetting for people who already has headsets though.

Let me ask and see if anybody knows. Can i Use my computer headset for Xbox one with the adapter? My Xbox 360/PS3 Headset is broke so i cant use it any ways.

I wonder if the headset play other voice chat and I can just speak through the Kinnect?  I think that is the work around for people like me, does that sound right?

A non-issue here. I'd assume by Feb 2014, this will be readily available. I remember a few things missed the 360 launch too, and were mostly inconsequential when they released in early '06.

It's not a huge deal for everybody, but it definetly sucks for someone that has an expensive headset like me.

Right now you can use the headset it comes with or Kinect.  Whichever one you prefer.  Or you could opt out and buying a third party headset which will be better but more expensive.

What I mean is I think I can use my Astro's to play surround sound and hear other people speak and then use Kinect to speak back to them.  I believe this would work.

if i hadn't heard the diff i would say ms is wrong for changing but after hearing the diff i dont mind waiting a month or two especially since they were smart to add in the headset

Headset for game audio and Kinect for mic?

Yes it will

Then again I understand why they would wait a little... that way impatient gamers will buy a new one instead... I have an expensive TB myself...

Maybe some Chinese knock off solutions might come out early....
