Brought? really? Thats dumb.

But maybe all the people are like Doug Heffernan and are IPS drivers so they literally brought the games to other peoples houses.

Hope I could help :)

Apparently, it's much more common than I thought, but I wouldn't call it dumb. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Its-Bought-not-Brought-you-Dumb-Fuck/314266841998296

It's a different word. We have it for a reason ;)   Doing it because you dont care about the language is dumb and having a stupid autocorrect f*cking up your stuff is also dumb (in this case the dumb thing is the autocorrect + developer)

P.S. replacing more stuff with

is fine with me.

I thought the post was absolutely hilarious, but yeah, thread/that? I hope no one ever makes that mistake.

To tell the truth the absolutely most irritating thing is people using their/there/they're in a totally random fashion. It seriously irritates me and I can barely stop myself from point it out all the time.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

strupid thread is strupid.

Everyone makes typographical errors. Most get caught, usually while the person is typing. Some get caught when (if) a person looks over what they've written before posting. However, some words slip through easier than others. This is especially true when the error is actually a word in its own right. "Sipped" instead of "slipped" will get missed much more often than "slippeed", for example. The writer knows what they intended to type, and nothing is glaringly out of place, so the brain essentially fools itself.

Auto-correct and auto-spellcheck can also fool the brain.

All of this is why most writers are horrible at self-editing, unless they allow enough time to pass that what they've written has been flushed from their short-term memory.

Some errors are also really hard to spot in many fonts, with the "r" being a top culprit.

Of course, some people really are clueless. I once had a middle-school kid tell me that he loved "grazed" donuts.

I've never encountered this mistake. If it happened around me I would surely be confused.

To tell the truth, neither have I. I guess  not that common after all :P
