GTA5 sold 386,727 units in Japan on Day One release Both PS3/360 sales... It probably 430,000+ units plus now in Japan


Early Numbers GTA5 sold over 23 million with Japan sales added in and over 24+ million plus worldwide sales up till now.


GTA5 proably need 1 million or less to Top GTA4 lifetime sales and 2+ million more to top GTA San Andreas 27
million record.



Grand Theft Auto 5, didn’t do too shabby considering it had to go up against Pokemon: the PS3 version debuted at number two with 360,115 units moved and the Xbox 360 version moved 26,612 units for a combined total of 386,727 units.

wait till the PC release next year, it will be over 30 mil by then... most likely.

With holidays right around the corner I can see this going on to break 30m easily.
Are there any records GTAV hasn't smashed??

EDIT: And if we see concurrent psonepc releases, we could see this break 40m.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but first month sales is generally 60% of lifetime for AAA titles, or something like that. If first month is over 20m, then 40m isn't too much of a stretch.
