Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition coming to PS Vita next month

Countries: AEAUGBIENZ

Armature Studio is proud to announce our next game for PS Vita, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, is hitting stores on 29th November.

When developing Injustice on Vita, our primary goal was to make sure it could hold its own next to its console counterpart.

The PS3 version has beautiful lighting, destructible environments, and – most importantly – 60 FPS fighting. We worked tirelessly to bring this experience to the handheld, and pulled out all the stops to push the PS Vita as hard as we could to make all of the above happen.

In addition to all of this, we’ve included ad-hoc multiplayer, traditional multiplayer over wi-fi, and touch controls to Story Mode and various S.T.A.R. Labs Missions.

Also, since this is the Ultimate Edition, the game will include all downloadable content that was released for the console edition.

Our friends at NetherRealm Studios made such a wonderful game in Injustice: Gods Among Us. We’re just happy to be able to use our experience on prior PS Vita projects to take what they did and spare no expense in creating a version of the game that allows people to play it on the go.

We hope you enjoy the game when it launches next month!

Pretty quick turnaround from announcement to release!

Here's hoping it's not as ugly as MK was on the Vita. At 60fps, though, I'm not really expecting much. *sigh*

I'd genuinely be much happier playing Vita games with slight visual downgrades but steady framerates compared to the choppy ports we keep getting.

wow, lobo in the middle!

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

There are slight visual downgrades--then there are blurry low poly messes like MK or SFxT. I mainly play the latter on PC for a reason.

its not like the game looks any good on PS3 or 360

Is SFxT that bad?  I thought it held up shockingly well in the digital foundry comparison:

But, I haven't played Mortal Kombat on Vita and have heard that it looks like a PSP game, so fair enough.  I was basing my own comparison off Need for Speed, which honestly looks like arse compared to the console versions but at least runs at a particularly steady framerate for me.  I'd definitely rather have that than visual fidelity in a racing game; and I'd imagine it's the same deal for a fighting game too.

I hope it survives the port better than DoA 5 (I know the companies doing the port are not related). While the core gameplay and the stages transitioned great they somehow managed to make the faces of some characters look really off. Especially Leifang looks horrible D:

MK is not ugly. Only when the camera zooms in during introductions and victory poses. The stages themselves look beautiful and very close to their console counterparts.

I'm curious to see how injustice will look. It seems like it will become a possibility for me at low price. I love my MK Vita.
