Forums - General - I hate rallies and anything that blocks the roads!

Can't you leave people like me who don't want anything to do with your nonsense out of the equation? Do you really need to block major thoroughfares just so you can achieve your useless goal of bitching to deaf ears who won't give a damn anyway? Do you really think that your puny little protest makes any bit of difference? GET OFF THE ROAD DAMMIT.

YEAHHH! That's the way it should be! Bitch ass protesters.

Main reason why I work 2nd shift = less traffic. I can't stand anyone getting in my way thus I should never work 1st shift with a commute into rush hour traffic.  If I heard there were protests then I would simply stay off the roads.  If a protest got in my way while going to work then I would be pissed.  Probably best time to have a joint on you and say fuck it.

I wish I could tell my boss to transfer me to the night shift or I'll be forced to bicycle :(

I hope that they go to prison, get raped repeatedly by bubba

Interresting how you enjoy the life we have today and think it's always been like that. Whether you like it or not protesting on facebook or boycotting a brand does not make a better society, does not get you better services. Without protesters a lot of things you do or say wouldn't even be possible. I know some cases are ridiculous but not all of them. I have protested once and yes we got what we wanted but so does everyone where I live and now everyone is glad about it.

Quite. Nobody likes all protests, but i'm sure that if the government took away something the OP really liked, he too could become one of those "things that block the roads."

Inconvenient? Yeah, but neither is it really your fault. You can't be blamed for being late because of a rally.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I would never inconvenience people who have nothing to do or are not interested in whatever I'm petitioning. If I want to protest, I'll do it in a place designed to hold events like that. For example, I could do it in a public plaza, on the governor's front lawn, etc., but NOT ON THE DAMN ROAD.

I mean, if I don't care about your tripe, why should I have to be delayed by it? Do it somewhere else!
