Forums - PC - Valve Announces Steam Controller

I dont think track input is best for gaming. Button mashing heavy game might suffer in this controller. But valve isnt a company who is not aware about it. I might get ps4/xbox one controller for my pc. Lets see what happens.

Looks terrible but functional. Hmm its very interesting, no matter how ugly that thing is.

The touchpad could be brilliant or bad. For aiming could be like a mouse. Valve has my attention. Don't count out valve out theya re a stellar company. If it launches and will run all of steams library I will buy one barring a terrible price.

Eeuuuuuu...

I love the DS3, but what an amazing concept this is!

Valve can become a serious threat to Microsoft, Nintendo & Sony if they play their cards right.

lol kinda scary and exciting at the same time!!

I think I'll stick to my Dual Shock 3. This looks awful.

Talk about jumping the gun.......This could be brilliant, I doubt valve released this without extensive research and thought.  Wait until more is revealed , and when people actually get it in their hands.

Totally agree, this will prob launch with the entire steam library being compatible..that alone would be amazing.

so am i wrong but looking at the portal 2 bindings why is the left mouse on the right side

I'm excited

If that's the best design they can come up for a controller, I don't want to know how their Steam Machine could look.

Looks aside, it seems one of those "Jack of all trades, master of none" devices. I don't see it being very successful.
