You know what is even funnier?  That the Sony diehards work so hard to downplay even the remote chance that the XB1 could have some different spec that could make it equal or better.  I myself know that I will own both consoles, but if I try to even imply there is a chance that the XB1 might have some type of power = or > than the PS4, people act like I must be a deluted fanboy.  Up to this coming generation, I bought all the systems to play any or all the games.  With the next generation, I was highly interested in the XB1 because I not only got the games, but all of the other features too. 

How can Sony fans be the ones who are insecure, when it is Xbox fans creating these theads daily about bogus spinning of mystery secret sauce and performance numbers? Yor entire post is hypocritical.

I don't know maybe because they are the only one like yous that bother to come in the MS forums to comment on this threads, that are not supposed to interest them. because almost no XB fan cares really about what's going on in the Sony forum and PS news. no matter the amount of BS posts there are around these parts of the forum I don't see how it is of any concern what so ever with the Sony fanbase unless they actually feel insecure. It is by definition insecurity if you feel the need to go the extra miles on the opposite camp to defend your team against obvious BS, if it wasn't the case you would stay in your camp and laugh peacefully on your forum. If you don't see the opposite happen with XB fans flooding the Sony forum with downplaying arguments against the PS4 (and there is a lot to be said)  it's because we are confident with our choice and secret sauce or not, we absolutely don't care because we still feel the XB1 is the better offer all things considered, inferior hardware or not.

you can try to down it as much as you want, to me XB1 with inferior Hardware is still a far more advanced entertainement device than PS4, secret sauce or not I don't see any appeal to the PS4 over the XB1 (quite the opposite actually) other than the better hardware and the probability of having slightly better looking games way later in the gen.... once again if I'm looking for a pure gaming rig I'd get a new PC or a steam box, I have way enough to play on current gen to not care about a new console with just a hardware boost....

How is it more advanced? because it can use your existing cable box as a pass thru, only having to pay for live and your existing cable LOL? If i want cable ill just use the plethora of ways people already have it. A case of selling asomething people do not need. Heck even PS4 will have backwadrs compatibility with gaikai, the $`100 more box won't.

hate to break it to you...the Ps4 will be a robust media machine, why do xbox fans act like it won't? Ps3 was way better then 360 at it, PS4 won;t be a slouch. Sony is a media company more then MS.

you know I'm not trying to convince you, I absolutely don't care what console you are going to buy.... if you are happy with your robust "media" box good for you... I'll be happy with mine

and I'm sorry the PS3 was nowhere close to the 360 in terms of media cpability any AVS enthusiat that looked into the issue know that the WMCE alone crushes anything the PS3 can do, and don't make me start on the PS3/4 OS that is and look to still be absolutely sad for a 21st century piece of technology.
gaikai BC ??? what BC you have free access to the games you bought on PS3 ??? and at what level of quality ??? I'm better off keeping my old console that is worth nothing at resale anyway.... that said nothing prevents MS to do exactly the same and has a way better infrastructure right now to do it than Sony and gaikai has and will ever be able to afford.
that said the current way the XB1 VM works it is almost guaranteed we will have BC going forward, but BC is a poor argument for a core gamer anyway, since he  more than likely keeps his rigs anyway...

once again you have your choice I have mine and I know for a fact that I'll spend and probably other XB1 owner more time using my XB1 than PS4 will on average... I don't want to have 20 devices and 24 remotes, I have been working and paying hard earn money (way more than 500 bucks) for the past decade+++ to reduce as much as possible those and the XB1 will push that one step further, I'm sold end of argument for me.... but please keep showing us how confident you are about your choice of robust media box, it's entertaining...

I'm sorry but you're factually wrong, the Ps3 was widely known to be vastkly superior with media, it had bluray, but even more so, MKV, AVHCD fils and format support was way better on PS3. A quick trip to the AV forums site, and say the 360 is a better media box..you will get laughed off the forums.

sony is a media company, you know they own movie and TV studios right? Ps3 was a way better media box the 36-0, yet xbox fans act like Sony is just a game machine? sony started the console is also a media device and a game machine. Newsflash, most people buy coonsoles for games and nothing more. period. Sony markets this, realising the other features will be there, but the most sales will come from gamers.

Backwards compatibility is important, it is the most requested feature of next gen consoles. For those making the jump for 360, it is a  huge selling point. You're saying it's not because MS doesn't have it period.

Why would you need 24 remotes and 20 devices with PS4 ROFL? X1 isn't going to control everything in your houe, just cable box, thats it , 1 remote.....which is a useless feature. people already have more then too many cable options, the x1 isn't replacing that, you still need your regular cable. Idiotic decision by MS to even try to market it. Wonder why they don't anymore? Even they know it was a msitake, thus their drastic change in focus.
