I already knew that Argentina is regularly robbed by the US Corporation(s) and the IMF.Now it seems Japan is starting to do the same,on a smaller level but that's no excuse.Nip it in the Bud(btw. how expensive was the ps3 at release?5000?)

Sorry, I didn't see the other thread here. PS3 launched at 5499 pesos in carrefour when it was around 3,14 pesos = 1 US Dollar. 4 Gb Xbox 360 slim is around 3000 pesos without kinect or anything else. It can go as high as 4500.

PS3 also goes from 3000 the cheapest to around the same as 360 with everything

I'm talking abouy the places where they import things ilegally and the gray market. It can be even more expensive in other places.

Anyways. sorry for the double post but I could buy a PS4 at launch if I wanted to. But not everyone can and I'm an exception to the rule. Close the thread if you people want...

A vita is around 2800 pesos in the cheapest places. Wii U around 4500

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the insane prices there had nothing to do with corporations robbing people, it was due to the very high import tax rate on goods.

Or do you really think that a console could have any negative impact on Argentinas economy or that Sony is happy that their product is 3x  more expensive in a region where people earn 1/3 of us income which makes the console effectivly 9x more expensive in relation to the usa(considering inflation in argentina it is even worser)
