From all the hype from Sony regarding the PS4, 1080p at 60fps shouldn't be a problem. While it might very well be the most powerful, it won't live up to the standard everyone thinks.

And what standard is that? If it's 1080p/60FPS, the PS4 will achieve that many times over.

See, you are part of the problem.  You got to get off that Sony bandwagon.  I will believe it when I see it.

Do you even know what you are talking about? The PS4 can easily do 1080p60. But if a developer chooses to go with 30fps or 720p there is not a lot that the PS4 can do to avoid that. It's a developer decision. The PS3 could even do 1080p60 but then most of the games would have had very little on screen.

Then Killzone would be running in 1080p at 60fps if it's easy.

Yeah as I guessed. You don't know what you are talking about.

Dreamcast taught me the difference between 30fps and 60fps. I couldn't work out at first why some games seemed so silky smooth, while others if you followed objects had a "double vision" effect. Turned out the double vision effect was caused by the gap in frames.

Always able to tell any game at 30fps or 60fps since. Criminally Xbox 360 and PS3's number of 60fps games were far lower than the gen before.

30fps games also play nowhere near as well as 60fps games. I don't think it's a coincidence that Call of Duty is the FPS that struck gold with gamers and it's also the only mainstream FPS to use 60fps (on consoles). Even if you can't see the difference, you can certainly feel it.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Far above 30 could be 40. As I have said, I will believe it when it is announced. Fanboys won't make be a believer, they will have to announce 60fps.
