Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft: "industry experts" say Xbox One has "a better line-up", gamers "don't buy for stats"

Tagged games:

Well we all know that... Hardcore fans won't budge... But the mainstream won't give a damn.... And anybody hardcore can argue on the game line up... But there is no question for mainstream players the xb line up blows ps4... Heck even the past 3 years tiny xb360 line up was more main stream friendly than the ps3 was...

Well, the Xbox One got better line up so he is right about that.
As far as the reason why people are buying systems, I have some doubts :)

Opinion, a launch line up is irrelavant if down the years the other system gets more support. And we need a good 2 years to make any judgement concerning that.

lol the fact that a launch line is irrelevant is actually "your" oppinion :)
Lets not start this...

So 3-4 games out of a potential 30 exclusives the whole generation should decide which console you buy. LOL

Can't read? : "oppinion". Medias are saying that the Xbox One got a better line up; now your oppinion about what it will bring to the console success is actually not related to what I was talking about (the fact the yes, medias are saying that).

Please, just keep arguing with yourself, I'm not interrested by some random comment.

LOL, What expert MS?

Ryse and killer instinct surely don't instill much confidence in most, the rest are a wash. Infamous and Killzone look better to me then anything on x1 except forza, Forza as always will be good.

If you include the great F2p games, yes, f2p has come a long way (YEs planetside is great), and indie, Ps4 imo has much more variety at launch.

lets not forget how aeesome launch titles usually are................They are usually very hit and miss and argely forgotten. They will have minimal impact on a console in the long haul, Sony will and always has delivered games. MS keep clinging to launch games, Sony fans know Sony will deliver with their first party studios.

Seriously; you are not aware that medias are generaly saying that the Xbox One line up (exlusive) is looking better for now?... I'm not going to list the medias lol... What it implies for the future of the console (or even future lineup) is a totaly different story but personnal feeling/taste aside, it is just a general trend right now...

You can pretend it is not true if you want.

I agree. The lineup is better ... not necessarily night and day better which would have been the case if it launched with Halo 5 (or at least Halo 5 in launch window). A brand new "real" Banjo Kazooie game would have given the system a solid platforming option which it has been missing, and would have served as a nice surprise touch imo.

The "people don't buy for system specs" has pretty much always been true. PS3 is just barely inching out second place despite having arguably better overall specs than 360, and dramatically better specs than the Wii. Gamecube was in deadlast despite its power as well. 3DS is crushing a vastly superior (graphically and performance wise) Vita. Clearly, games matter more than any system specs.

Where? You saying it doesn't make it so, i have not seen 1 media source say this and that is purely objective. I know many that like the ps4 lineup better including myself. Links?

Just use Google for the links...I did for the fun and got several results (not sure how you could not see ANY media source saying that...) and I'm not going to post any link here so you can use the next 10 replies to explain how wrong they are or how many money Microsoft payed them to say that; waste of time esp. when you state that kind of bolded statement, it is like talking to an arguing wall.
