Forums - Gaming Discussion - Trails In the Sky SECOND CHAPTER finally coming!

XSEED Games has officially announced that they will be localizing The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Second Chapter for English-speaking audiences. A little bit has changed this time around, though - SC is coming to both PC via Steam and PSP as digital releases sometime before the end of 2014. Also worth noting is that the already-released first chapter will see release on Steam this winter.

The localization isn't just done by XSEED's internal team, however, as the folks at Carpe Fulgur, who localized Recettear and Fortune Summoners will be assisting with the translation of the title.

"There's been a constant demand ever since we released the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky," said XSEED executive Ken Berry, "and we are extremely grateful for our partnership with the passionate localizers at Carpe Fulgur to finally make it a reality."

Dice had to say, "So, on very nearly the third anniversary of Recettear’s launch, we can at last say that yes, our fourth project is a collaboration with XSEED Games to localize and publish Trails in the Sky SC. This has, on some level, been in the works and worked on since before the first reveal of Fortune Summoners. So very much, from so very many, has gone into making this a reality, and at long, long last we can finally tell everyone everything about the long-discussed "Project Four", which is not just our largest localization to date, but is without hyperbole one of the largest projects in the history of the industry."

If you played the first one (trails in the sky: first chapter) you'll know its a RPG that came out for PSP although i played mine on the vita via a digital purchase from PSN. Its a a game that the fans love due to the really well done story and some of the most likable characters a game has to offer. The game ends on a MASSIVE cliffhanger which will have you on the internet with in minutes wanting know when the story will continue. and finally now its confirmed for sure that this game is coming. I for one and i know many of the othe rpeople who plkayed it will be very happy.

:D :D

i can understand you dissapointment, but im just so happy it is finally happening, ever since i finshed the first one this game has been my most wanted game yet i had a feeling that it would never happen due to the massive size of it and the work it would take to localise it. But Xseed are obviously amazing and have listened to the demand :)

More Legend of Heroes the better.

No physical copy?  I'm actually devestated...

Good timing, just as the first game is on sale in EU. Which has turned it from a "probably will buy" to "will definitely buy" for me, just to know that more is on the way.

I'm not going to lie. The first one kind of made me bored for quite some time. It was so easy, to the point where I was losing focus. Towards the end of the game though the story got interesting, and the cliffhanger was awesome.

I'll probably pick it up, but I really hope the gameplay is a lot better.
