Let me get this straight only a week head start in some of the European market....the same European market that they had a 18 month lead in the previous console cycle, and yet had their butts handed to them long term, and at the same time their giving sony a head start in the us the only real stronghold that microsoft has globally...oh microsoft will you ever learn :)

Not to mention, X1 will not even be available in most countries in Europe in 2013. The rest of the world (Asia, Middle East, Africa, South America)? Forget it. Maybe in 2015

NOOOOO!!!!!! What a terrible release date.

That is the same date that Catching Fire is coming to theaters. Guess I'll be picking up the X1 the following day and not at the midnight launch (but honestly I've been going to bed early these days so I doubt that I would have played anything on it until the next day anyways).

It's actually the exact same date Nintendo release Super Mario 3D World, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Mario Party. I wonder who's sales will be impactedXD

I'm just glad it was the week BEFORE black friday and thanksgiving. I work retail, and there was no way I'd get to call out/get those days off.
