Yes,  my brother lives 700miles away, and we both have a PS3. So we video chat all the time.  Especially when I have family over that wants to see him. It makes it nice because we dont have to huddle around my pc desk, everyone has a seat in my living room.  


Wait, there is a Skype app for PS3 and I didn't know ?

Of course they do. MS is ultimately a business and the profits gained from being available of the PS4 would likely out way the pros of being an Xbone exclusive (which i doubt many people are going to consider when making their purchase anyway).

Not a big surprise.

If I remember correctly, even PlayStation Vita has a Skype app, so why not the PS4.

I think Skype on PS4 would be great. If Skype on both the PS4 and Xbox One can be beneficial to both companies, I can't see how this is anything but a plus for consumers.

Is Skype 3D-enabled yet? Because I expect Sony to introduce some Skype-like videocall service for the PS4 anyway, but I expect the service they'd introduce to be 3D-enabled from the very start.
