Your expectations for The Order: 1886?

Massive Hit 78 49.06%

Moderate Hit 73 45.91%

Flop 8 5.03%

Total:159

FWIW - I think PS4 will have a higher install base than PS3, and The Order:1886 will probably come out during next-gens first "drought" (summer/fall 2014) so it will get a lot of attention.

It's also one of the few games that is truly next-gen. Not cross-gen like so many other games. Not developed to also work on PS3.

It's purely 100% next-gen, and hopefully the graphics will show that.

My bet is a good game with an interesting setting, but nothing more. If post-launch it will sell in line with other mid-tier PS exclusives (1.5-3m), if launch a little more.

Let's see some gameplay footage first. Judging it just by its esthetic I can't see it selling more than 5 millions even if it would get astronomic reviews. It's just too little mainstream. I guess it could reach 2 million if it's good.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

Well apparently the other guys here know nothing about this developer. Remember the fantastic Daxter game on PSP,the two fantastic God of War games on PSP, and the great port of Okami on the Wii? It was all developed by Ready At Dawn. Also they are made out of ND employees who left the studio in 2003.
As for me, I'll be buying it day 1. I'm a huge fan of RAD, and its sad to see them not getting the attention and respect the deserve. Perhaps this will be their breakthrough game.

I'm thinking this will become sony's gears of war. I have no problem with that.
The environment looks amazing.
I have high expectations.

Floppy disk?  Are you mad?  Slightly agitated?  Hungry?

How many floppy disks will it be, you think?

i was in need of masturbation, us banana's get upset when we dont for a while.

but seriously i dont think it will flop...py disk. i was just messing

moderately okay: 1-2M.

..it looks pretty and it is releasing early so it will find it's audience in the sparse line-up of a new console. bascially on par with heavenly sword on the ps3. a sequel is not likely or if it does get a sequel it will probably flop when released among a more robust lineup of games.

looks sexy though. i love the steampunk style. if reviews are okay i'll probably pick it up.

No opinion at all.

I think it will be a much better game than Heavenly Sword, and in a genre that traditionally sells more than hack n slash games.

It's definitely on my radar, something I'll be looking out for. I'm just excited to see what Ready At Dawn is capable of. I'm hoping the game proves to be more than what I think it is: just your typical third person shooter. Also I love steampunk, so that's a plus. AND it's set in the Victorian era. It sounds to me like a potentially awesome game.
