bad choice.

PlayStation is about the long-haul, you are not just investing in it for its first few years, but its entire life-cycle which will be filled with impressive games.

plus, we get inFAMOUS which looks like the only true next-gen game i've saw (those particle effects...)

particle effects = next gen?

(facepalm)

they look amazing

"I like their launch library a lot more than Sony's."

You should go with whichever excites you to the most. After all, people have all different tastes in gaming.

However, judging by launch games doesn't seem like a very holistic decision either way. People make a big deal about it back and forth but I think it's much better to take a broader view. Personally, I'd go with a PS4 because I know what to expect from Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, and the rest of World Wide Studios. Someone else might favor 343i and Rare. Regardless, the launch comparison probably won't seem all that meaningful after a year or so.

Go for it dude. All that matters is your happiness. If you think launch lineup is going to translate better than sony's ps+ vision and cheaper indie game focus, go right ahead.
However, I would caution you to look past the launch lineup and take a look at how 360 was supported over the generation.

Aside from that, I actually like the kinect 2 stuff, despite all the spying crap. I'm just not 560$ interested.

EDIT: What I find ironic is that I'm not really interested until the price drops, and xbox tends to have the strongest lineups in their earlier years of the gen. I guess that'll mean that I'll have a lot to play when it eventually gets a price drop, but I feel consistency is more important.

do you its your life you have to live it.

Hey man go with what you feel is best. It would be uncool if you invested your hard earned money in a console that appealed less to you. If the Xbox is currently more attractive for you then I think that's the way you should go. Likewise, if we see more of Sony's offerings over the coming months, particularly the launch window games such as inFAMOUS SS, and they look more attractive to you then that's the direction you should go.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Exactly, like this gen have show us, microsoft throw their bullet at the first half of the gen and then they decided to play it safe, unlike sony, they keep throwing newest ip despite the longetivity of the console.
