Someone had better gets started on a website that charts how many employees a developer has, as it turns out that a lot of gamers are really just "AAA gamers" who can only enjoy a game if it has ton of people working on it. Kind of sad but that seems to be the vibe out there now.

Personally, my criteria is if a game is fun or compelling, though that seems to be an old fashioned sentiment.

From what I can see, there is a LOT of quality on that list. I'm interested in almost everything there.

Heavy Spectrum is an indie dev I guess.

Interested in Rime, i can't say the same for the rest....maybe i change my opinion in the future

Shadow of the Beats is a reboot from the original to Anima.

Well, they wouldn't be indie if they're the first-party project of a major development group like World Wide Studios but I get what you're saying.  I don't know if any of these are "second-party" or not, though I bet Resogun by Housemarque is.  Murasaki Baby by Ovosonico might be, as well, since they announced a partnership with Sony awhile ago.  That's the studio by the director of Shadows of the Damned.

Hotline Miami 2, Murasaki Baby and Rime got to me its a really nice time to be a gamer
