Much better, and yes the vita could be saved but Sony aren't going to do what they need to to save it.

They have a major home console coming out...ofc they are gonna put all their efforts into that, eventually we will see Vita support pick back up. They already showed they are committed to the console or else they would not have dropped the price.

And what exactly do you see lifting the Vita to not only acceptable levels but sustainable ones??
It's not good enough to say they have a console out, if they couldn't support both then they shouldn't have created the thing, and it's been poorly suported since just after launch, when is there going to be a better time? PS4 is going to need the bulk of support.
It can be free, but if it does'nt have that killer game, then no one will play it,regardless of price. The memory cards are still to high, especially the 32gb one.

Crikey, quite some list, right? Remember, these are just some of the new games we’ve announced for PS Vita. There are actually a ton more games that we’d already announced that are on the show floor and you’ll really want to go check them out to see what’s in store for you in the very near future. Remember, the likes of Terraria, Spelunky and TxK are yet to come, and they’re going to be awesome." - http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/08/20/gamescom-indie-avalanche-n-volume-hotline-miami-2/
Damn, I love my Vita. Today is a good day.

Right now they need to support the PS3, Vita and PS4, by the end of this year I think Sony is going to substantially decrease PS3 support and put those resources into the Vita. Your acting like there is no support for the console atm, there is Killzone Mercanary, Tearaway, Y's Memories of celceta and a bunch of other multiplatform games coming out for it. Every console has a drought of games at some point or the other, were you saying this about the PS3 when it launched?

I already got one... wich i bought for 187 euros on a special retailer discount. The price drop came early for me. ^^
With that said, i didnt get a price cut on the memory card though i got motorstorm RC with it.
Dunno if the Vita is saved with just this, but i do hope it helps.

I wasn't around for the PS3 launch, and to those that did, so what? It's a console that sold 6 times better than Vita at $600 that had competition in Wii and 360.
You can't compare the two like the vita is going to fine because the PS3 was, such lazy reasoning.
The vita is getting great indie support but most of that stuff isn't on store shelves and doesn't reach the mass market.
I just can't fathom how some people think Vita is going to start selling well now based on this price cut, there just isn't enough software to support it.
And you're guessing Sony will shift PS3 support to Vita. They didn't support PSP to the best of their ability and that thing was considered a success.
All I hear when people talk about Vita being ok is pipedreams.
