Forums - Microsoft - CVG: Microsoft to reveal 'major 3rd party game' comes free with X1 [MCV: FIFA]

You cannot reason with an army of sheep while put on repeat. Why do they want to transfer their insecurities to the others, I don't understand.

If this offer is true it's just a demostration of desesperation from Microsoft, more even considering xbox one launch only in half europe this year.....

If adding value for consumers is a move of desperation I wish more companies were feeling desperate.

In the short term of course is good for us gamers, but, if by definition a company is desperate, it's because its business is at risk, so, in the long term could be very very bad for the gamer, in this case, a xbox fan.

So you think MS is at risk?

Well, I really doubt that Microsoft will be at risk ever, but Xbox One could be very well at risk.

At risk of what? Not winning WW? That isn't going to happen even if X1 was $100 cheaper imo.

If PS4 gets to great a lead in UK and US and worries MS they'll price comparitively, from then on they're too similar for PS4 to take a dramatic PS2 style lead.

If Xbox One starts selling half or a quarter of what PS4 is selling  WW(considering all the bad happens to them, something i don't think it will happen), and in 2 o 3 years, they lag behind too much of PS4, of course I think xbox one is at risk. Not everything can be bought or avoid with money....

as long as they're ahead in UK and US (not difficult if they want that to happen) then by default they won't be a quater of PS4 sales.

That's the problem, Microsoft probably is not in a position to decide the conclusion of anything despite if they want it or not, even in UK and USA.

Kind of awkward if it's Fifa, the PS4 and Fifa is still cheaper than this deal.

They're in a very good position to turn the tide if they need to, this isn't xbox vs playstation 2 brand power battle here ...
