Forums - Gaming - Good PAL Games?

I'm going to France next year for a 3 month student trip, to improve my French. My question is, what are some good PAL games that weren't released in NA? It can also include games that got a physical release in Europe, but not NA, and games that were released in Japan and Europe, but not NA. Preferrably these consoles:

PS1

PS2

PS3

PS4

PSP

XBox

XBox 360

NES

SNES

N64

GCN

Wii

Game Boy

DS

3DS

Master System

Mega Drive

Sega Mega CD

Saturn

Dreamcast

Intellivision

No one?

I liked Disaster: Day of Crisis, but it is a very average game. Might as well try it yourself. It is for the Wii, and only had a Pal and NTCS-J release.

Aren't a lot of those systems region locked?

There's only a few games I can think of that got physical releases over here but not in the USA.  WipEout Pulse (PS2) & WipEout HD Fury (PS3) spring to mind; alongside Breath of Fire 3 (PSP) + Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty (PS3).  But whether you'd want to buy any of those physically when you can just download them.

As for personal recommendations, there's only two I have.  The first is Terracon (PS1); an incredible third person shooter/platformer that I found really enjoyable when I was younger then again when I revisited it recently.  Apparently it only released in Europe:

The second is Gregory Horror Show for PS2.  A completely fucked up but amazing game.  You have to collect souls from guests in a hotel while avoiding the wrath of older guests who you've stolen the souls of.  It's creepy as hell but insanely amusing:

P.S. This list might help with PS1 games:

Thanks! I'm not very picky when it comes to games, so I'll probably like it.

Yeah, I may have a problem with region licking, but I'll try to find a way around it. I personally never buy digital, which is why I asked for games with a physical release in Europe. Thanks for the recommendations!

"Preferably these consoles"... names every console within the last twenty years.

I think there's more consoles from the last 20 years that I didn't list.

Shenmue 2, if you consider it good and didn't pick it up on Xbox.

Did you ever play the "spanish" version of Shenmue 2?

Nope. The spanish version is a fan translated one, right?
