The PSP had a much longer list of games I greatly enjoyed, but I refuse to chose which was better because I love the hell out of pokemon :P

PSP because the DS never grew out of ports phase. PSP was the same way at first but eventually became a good place for stand alone game's and actual sequel's/spin offs

PSP in terms of RPGs and Fighters - with a close coming to racing
NDS in terms of Platformers and casual games with a close coming to RPGs

PSP in terms of third party titles
NDS in terms of first party titles

But I've enjoyed a lot more on my PSP than my NDS. There's still a lot more of more games I have to play for both systems.

Its funny that everyone commenting is choosing the PSP, but the DS has triple the votes.

I think in terms of quality PSP has better games than DS, but for volume of good games the DS beats the PSP, especially outside of Japan.

^ Agreed

I don't think the PSP is as bad as everyone makes it out to be but it's still nowhere near as good as DS. DS is easily my favorite handheld.

ppl here dismissing the quality and quantity of the rpgs on DS is worring me
is the same DS we re talking bout?

It does have its fair share of good JRPGs, its just the PSP has way more.  JRPGs are still coming out for the PSP to this day.

Own a PSP, borrowed a DS this past year with some R4's and many games, including 2 Bleach rpg's, super robot taisen, some mario games, KH, TWEWY, etc. I'll go with the PSP: both GoW: CoO/GoS (nothing on DS comes REMOTELY close), KHBBS, FF:Crisis Core, currently on Crimson Gem Saga, VP: Lenneth (much better than that mediocre Covenant of the Plume (seraphic gate was a letdown too), Persona Innocent Sin, and P3P, God Eater Burst (loved the story, gameplay was solid and enjoyed the overall package than any MH game EVER), MGS: Peace Walker, etc. I didn't worry about the "oh but but the handheld experience", big deal, I just put the thing on sleep when I would get off the train, and when I got home I would plug it to my TV (wish my Vita had that option btw). All in all, I wish DS had more unique games like TWEWY, but most were ok to mediocre at best, and I had high hopes for Covenant of the plume (I have a near perfect game in Lenneth and in Silmeria on PS2), but at least the intro was nice.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

DS easily. The PSP had some good games, but it can't come close to competing with the depth and variety of the DS's lineup.
