Fans will always see comparison videos with their MS, Sony or whatever glasses on or simply see what they want to see. To some it will be a massive gap.

I agree the gap is nowhere as big as the "experts" led the less technical among us to believe. It is very important to remember the wii u version is a port from a lesser system.

All this recent talk of xbone resolution issues can be good for the wii u. If SM3DW is 1080@60 Nintendo should make the most of promoting that fact. Shout "the wii u does full HD". The fact that SM3DW is not exactly Battlefield 4 will be insignificant to many part-time gamers that are potential customers.

In a few weeks we'll see if the Wii U is doomed or not! Well I will anyways, coming weeks should tell me about Wii U's future

When the initial number is small, the percentage of an increase is going to be huge.  if it drops back to its old number, that will be a 93% fall!  I'm not saying there isn't cause for celebration, just don't go nuts.

Frankly, "MEGATON" just has a bad association with me. It makes me think of the desperation of PS3/360 fanboys in the Wii's heyday, when everything was totally about to turn around with the new system seller.

Doesn't tell me anything, we have no idea how many units were on shelves. It's not holiday time just yet, not to the point where WiiU hits those numbers.

SOLD OUT could be a bit misleading as it depends on how much stock a store has in the first place. For all we know that total could be minimal.

However SOLD OUT! Is better than selling at half price to be rid of them.

Again I will say it, potential buyers are seeing the wii u in a different light. There is an honest down to earth article that was publish recently (I will see if I can find it ) about people not so impressed with the next gen consoles and no longer view the wii u as an overpriced, underpowered piece of junk. Suddenly from definitely not getting one they are at "maybe I will pick one up". Publications like Edge are also helping.

Really? How on earth have you come to that conclusion? Anecdotal evidence at best, and given next gen systems aren't even out yet.

We're seeing a minimal boost and when a console is selling 150k going into the xmas season it's nothing to shout about.
