You see, first I tried Endless Space, but the tutorial is so text heavy that instead of relaxing me it got me more tired. The time spent reading would be better suited studying, and so it is. Also, I started Rome Total War and, amazing as it is, the level of attention required to everything that is happening during a Campaign is not good for relaxation at all. So, if Civ V has a long tutorial, I'll have to wait till I finish my PhD. |
I recommend some Paradox grand strategy games like Victoria 2 or Europa Universalis IV. I personally found Victoria 2 eaiser and quicker to get into but what's nice about the games is you can set your own pace and you can play as any country from the time period the games takes place and lead your country through history.
I would avoid Hearts of Iron, it's complicated and games get crazy as hell fast.
