Talk about a spin, the OP is an obvious fanboy.

Or it could just be that they're both based in Redwood Shores, in Redwood City California. You know. Where EA is located. That'd be my guess personally. Actually i'd guess they were the same team. They're the previous development team combined with Maxis from what i know. Whcih gives them some games like Sim City, The Sims games and the Tiger Woods golf games. So they have some pretty notable sellers on their development list. |
Command and Conquer
The article makes sense, just not in some regards.
Going from PS3 to 360 yields great results because you already have to optimize code to work on the PS3's architecture, then moving optimized code to the 360's general purpose cores makes it a no-brainer. It actually seems like going this way would make the 360 more efficient no?
Vice versa however, you move un-optimized code to a machine that needs to be optimized, and it yields horrid results >_>; Why didn't it make sense to just do that from the start? How did anyone come to the conclusion that this means PS3 hardware is inferior o.O?
From 0 to KICKASS in .stupid seconds.
"Not sure what "Redwood Studios" has made."
Sigh I am old. The last guy was asking what Civilization is for god's sake, now someone doesn't know what Redwood Studios did?
There should be history lessons about the great age of PC video games, a time when the ONLY choice for videogaming that needed more than two braincells was the PC.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Yes. Yes it was. Maybe they've made the games since 2002 or so. Whenever EA broke up Westwood?

Oh god I am really old, now amnesia comes along. Apparently Redwood is the core EA developer studio (EA is based in Redwood) + Maxis(SimCity)
