The Enervee™ Score for Video Game Consoles is calculated based on performance per power consumption. Current models range from 4.58 to 36.70 performance (scaled) per kWh. This number is converted into an easy energy efficiency rating from 0 to 100 (best). For Gaming Consoles, the CPU, GPU, and system memory components have the biggest impact on energy efficiency.

I see absolutely no correlation between the score and the other 3 numbers.

 

 

Edit: OOhhhh I get it, the HDD is inflating the PS3 score. Cool beans.



Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

lol i actually came close to buying one, you know they've sold 60k+ of those things already, but i decided to wait for Google's console iteration, which was in the news a couple of weeks ago. Google will surely make a better android console i reckon. Plus i like to connect my Google gadgets together :P

With the launch 360 probably ranked near dead last since it had to power an airboat fan.

The performance score is absolutely insane :D

Wii U is roughly on par with ouya and the PS3 gains a 1.2 performance increase over the 250gb model just for the bigger hard drive. So another 250gb memory is nearly worth as much as a tacked on ouya in terms of performance.

 

PS3 3times as powerful as Wii U confirmed. Most Wanted U to be developed by Jesus himself also confirmed.

that is a link to the webpage that does the studies. it has more relevant info on there than the article.  it also has the tags for the numbers in each colum so we know what they mean

lol yeah. You can still see Youtube videos of how that was back and the noise, GOD the noise the early 360 models made!

Funny thing though, the Ouya is making a name for itself it seems, more and more people are hearing of it. They're still doomed though imo, with Google and Apple now busy developing their own Android and iOS consoles, the OUYA will not be able to compete with the dollars of those 2 giants. But, i'm getting off topic now.
