Resident evils I played I rate like this:

4>>5>1>>>>>>>>>>> 6

Resident evil 6 is the one no one should talk about it you consider Resident Evil a quality franchise. Too many characters, too much action, not enough stealth, the co-op play even sucks a big one.

I hope Resident Evil 2, 3 and Zero become HD remasters though. 

The sixth one is better than the fourth, so I don't really understand your point. Sixth one had zombies, something that fourth lacked and should automatically make it better :P

Capcom said after the success of the RE1 remake to expect more.  Not necessarily RE but yeah

I really need to play these games.  Do you think RE4 and RE5 still stands up well today?

Also I hear Resident Evil Revelations is good

That is exactly why I want the HD remasters. I would not play Resident evil back in the day because the camara sucked, the graphics were horrible. The remastered games fix both of these problems. 

Their are 1053 Xbox 360 games with a better score on metacritic that makes it below average or bad.

I played Resident Evil 4 HD for the first time on 360 about 10 months back. It is one of my all time favorite games. It has rather corny dialouge, and some bad controls at times, but the boss fights are top notch and some of the scenes where you have to save Ashley over and over again mke it increadibly fun. 

I am waiting for revelations to be sold as one product. It is the same thing I do with Telltale games.
