I honestly think that turn 10 was just rushed by microsoft for the x1 launch.
the game needed an additional year of development time.

I agree, it seemed rushed, I think MS wanted it as a launch title and I don't think it was ready yet since Turn 10 decided to start over from scratch for next-gen instead of reusing last-gen assets. Hopefully 2 years for Forza 6 was enough, since they could build off of what they already had for Forza 5. Guess we'll find out at E3. |
sigh...i still wish ms would give forza games 3 year dev cycles. they deserve it.

I agree. They should add a Kart racing game into the cycle so that we can have a 3 year dev cycle. |
you know what'd be awesome?
if they got a studio to develop a forza-burnout game. i'd pick that up in a heartbeat.
Turn10 has around 300 people in their staff for FM series.
They have delivered so far critically, until FM5, which faults are not technical in any way.

i agree.
the only downside to f5 was content.

Are you also taking in account the install base? What was the base when those games released? You're also adding total sales from those games from a 65+M console base
Edit I skipped over the combined sales. I believe we should wait until the base gets more substantial. I do believe some have left 360 but there's also some who've yet to upgrade. I personally know 6 ppl that are waiting still. With all the games both systems had and the problems it's had I recommend them to wait. Last generation could have went a year longer without the new systems coming out.

also, you have to consider the fact that the xbox 360 was the first HD console on the market and had a one year jumpstart over the ps3, so you can imagine that a ton of hardcore gamers who contribute to the rpg base jumped to the x360 as they probably didn't want to wait for the ps3.

How do you play Breakdown and Lifeline in State of Decay? I beat the game and continued and it took me right before i finished the last part. I started a new game like a dumbass and erased my progress.
