I hear you on the ME2 demo it was a letdown. If fact, of the three ME games 2 is my least favourite (in conflict with popular opinion). Still, big fan of the series! I have played most of Kotor but havent played Kotor 2 (own it on Steam though ).

I need to give Mass Effect another try, if they go through with their plans to port the Mass Effect trilogy to next-gen I'll at least rent it and give it another try.

KOTOR 2 is great, I actually liked it more than KOTOR 1, you should definitely play it sometime. Really hope Bioware Edmonton develops KOTOR 3 next, or a new Star Wars RPG, since the latest SWTOR expansion apparently concluded the Revan storyline making KOTOR 3 unlikely. Or if Bioware Edmonton doesn't want to make a new Star Wars RPG I hope that EA lets Obsidian make one since they want to.

I will definitely get around to KOTOR 2 one day. If they announced they were making a third that would definitely move it up my list of backlog to clear

The main thing is to line up where and when you'll play the trilogy, and get all three games for that platform. FYI on PC the first two games are on Steam and the third is on Origin. Sadly, though you can get the third cheaply (right now its on sale I think) the DLC still costs some money (and the third game's DLC is fantastic, as is some of the second game's DLC).

I know it's mostly talks of RPGs lately but I was wondering if anyone was going to pick up Saints Row IV Re Elected + Gat out of hell this month. I've played the first 3 SR games but still haven't played IV yet. But after seeing dat price tag I'm still debating if it's worth paying $50 for a ported game that was released like 16 months now.

Pre-ordered the X1 version in October!!!

I'm glad to hear another person is getting it here.

It comes with the full game, both DLCs, and a brand new expansion. If you haven't played SR 4 I'd say it definitely worth it, especially since January is a slow month for gaming. I already played SR 4 and the DLCs, but I'm getting it day one.

I'm trying to remember why I haven't played the 4th one yet. I think it was the alien bit and it being night time 24/7. But if you think $50 will be well worth it for the main game + dlc + expansion than I'll add that to my list. Though I do admit I do miss good ole Stillwater and the gang territory bit.

Last night I got two of the harder achievements in Titanfall, pretty proud of myself! Got the Pull Harder! where you have to kill an ejecting pilot with the Plasma Railgun and then a few games later I got the one where you have to kill all the evacuating pilots.

I'll probably rent it since I've already played SR4 on 360, with my gaming budget I can't really afford to pay for games that I've already played.

I haven't browsed around much yet on the X1 but can you rent games from the Marketplace? If so I'll probably be buying money cards more often.

I don't know about $50, but I thought IV was better than 3 (which I considered a bit of a tired entry).

Saints Row 2 was my favorite. Than again it seems like my most favorite series in games is the 2nd one. ME2, SR 2, Batman AC (well that is the 2nd one right lol) etc.. etc..

That's why I was asking if $50 was worth the price tag for a game thats been out for awhile now.

halo 5 beta and Breakout are so good. Addicted xD

I wish. I think Phil said he'd look into it awhile back but nothing yet. Would certainly be nice to be able to rent digital only games that you can't rent through Gamefly, which includes most indies.

That would be awesome. Being able to have rent options like 3 days or 5 days or a week. They could pay devs a percentage of the rentals and that would help us see if the game is worth buying it after.
