lol Ive never really been a fan of Square Enix to be honest so i dont follow them that much.  But i do know they have shown incompetence with things such as lets make 3 Final Fanatasy 13 games.  Lets also release Final Fantasy 14 in a horrendous state and take 10 years to make Final Fantasy 15 that was originally called Final Fantasy 14 Versus.  I mean fans have been screaming to remake Final Fantasy 7 for years and im pretty positive that they would make a ton of money off of it if they would do it but instead the troll people with a FF7 PS1 port.

But yeah, im not a long time SE or Square fan for that matter so i dont hold the notalgic look from them.  I just know that last generation I looked at them and didnt care.  I feel there best games are more western than Japanes (Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider)


I've played one game of theirs in the last what 5 years, that being Sleeping Dogs which I really enjoyed. I plan to get the Tomb Raider reboot very soon but otherwise I care very little for them. I'll eventually get into the Kingdom Hearts series probably though.

Is it because of trophy support? I honestly don't see a reason to get hyped...

I was waiting for the old graphics to transition into the beautiful new ones... but it never happened.

So basically you're getting the steam version, which is basically the PS1 version... which was already on PSN for PS3...

FFVII remake would have been a megaton

You mean halo waypoint right? I go there everyday. The reaction to the beta is two sided there. Some think it looks great, some you know hate change and putit next to halo 4. Surprisingly it seams like the biggest complaint isn't thruster, ground pound, ads, or clamber. The biggest complaint that I see is against sprint.

 Me personally I think it looks great. The biggest problem with reach/4 in my oppinion was the non competitiveness of the games. But with halo 5 they are really focusing on the competitive side. I'm sure that will pay off with halo fans even the halo 2 hardcores that don't like change. No other console game is as competitive as halo 2/3 and it looks like 5 might be even more so. They must nail the halo 5 beta. There are tons of fan on waypoint and on mcc looking to spill blood

Yea I meant Waypoint. Man Halo Hardcores vs Halo fans, reminds me of fanboys vs XBOX lol. I hope Halo 5 brings the community together.  After watching all of Ready Up Lives videos, it looks awesome thus far.

OHHHHHH SHOOT, looks like there might be an announcement coming soon. Please be Q1, please be Q1, please be Q1. If they announce Gears 3 remastered after the Halo 5 beta, that would be amazing.

Interesting.  They specifically mention Gears of War 3 though and not the gears franchise in general.  Curious to what that means

Doesn't a Q1 release for seem a bit overly optimistic? It'd be great if they managed it, but wouldn't they have announced it at the The Game Awards so that it'd have some time to build up hype before release? I think if they announce it soon it'll be a Q2 release at the earliest.

Yea, but when else would it make sense to slot it. Also I'm not expecting a Halo 2 type remaster, but an upgraded port would be fine with me. If they could release it by March that would be best to buffer the two games coming for ps4. You don't think this is possible?

Defintely preferable, but I don't think they have the time. I imagine they want to release the Gear collection the year before the 2016 Gears and 2 quarters away from Halo, so that leaves up until summer 2015.
