Peggle 2, 161/180 objectives.
I have to say, I can't consider Forza 5 to be an actual sim racing game because literally every flipping game ends up being a demo derby. I've tried every difficulty of AI and they aren't that different difficulty-wise (even on the unbeatable I didn't have too much trouble passing people...although the fact that they constantly dive-bomb you made it pretty unbeatable though >_>). It's just so sad to see Forza de-evolve into such nonsense.
Although I figured out how to have the best races where you don't have to worry about the absurdly crappy AI. I put the drivatar difficulty to the easiest level so that way I can jet past them and not have to worry about getting hit every corner...plus most of the time I'll be able to get non-penalty laps on top of it. It sucks that doing that is what it takes to play the game and be able to enjoy it :/
Hopefully they fix the drivatars and allow you to turn off that nonsense and have actual race car driving AI.

I haven't found a way to do so, so I'm pretty sure you can't.

I think it has drivatars saved so it would still use them anyways.
Used the cloud today to put Max on my step brother's console. Pretty cool, didnt know you could do that. He is playing it on his account right now and unlocking the achievements and all.
He is also loving Max and the puzzles xD

First, Metacritic either doesn't accept reviews from certain sites for different reasons, usually for failing to meet the prerequisites, or it can take a long time for the scores to be added. I've seen reviews take weeks to finally hit Metacritic. Second, Metacritic has weighted scores. It is not a straight average. The reviews of different sites are not equal to Metacritic. Game Informer's review is given an edge over websites like Quarter to Three and honestly you should be thankful for that considering that Quarter to Three gave Halo 4 a 1 out of 5 and has had some equally bizarre reviews that really make one wish they were not counted at all. It is precisely for websites like Quarter to Three that the weights were given in the first place.

Ahh, Thats how they do the average, Lol I would prefer the straight average TBH and then they should just get rid off the sites like Quarter to Three and others that are like them and replace them with other (Good) Sites, I see no reason why Softpedia shouldn't be added, Qauarter to Three gives bad reviews just for the clicks most likely. How does the weighted average thing work then? The sites so far that have reviewed Max are sites that I see the most in reviews usually so I don't see why they need to be weighted Halo 4 doesn't seem to be weighted aswell for Quarter to Three, The Average on Meta is the same as the straight average i've just calculated =/ Edit: Found a list of their weighted sites, They have allot of good sites on a lower weighting system by the looks of it aswell =/ Meh, I don't really bother with listening to reviews mostly anyway unless it's the user score on Amazon since they confirm that you have bought it or XBL but if the Meta critic review is below 50 then I will listen Lol, How does Rotten Tomatoes do it for movies? I heard their average is better than Metacritics |
If you want my honest opinion, regardless of weights and how they do it in addition to what sites they accept, the Metacritic average after about 30 to 40 reviews is pretty much what the critics thought of the game in general. You'll notice there isn't much of a difference between Metacritic and Gamerankings. From what I've seen the straight average isn't too much different either. Sometimes it's more. Sometimes it's less. As always, what's most important is how you felt about the game. Reviews are really just a means by which to judge a product before purchase and for bragging rights that usually lose their punch the moment sales come into the picture. Sure there is some measure of objectivity with reviews and I typically agree with the critical average. I would certainly say that The Last of Us having a 95 is definitely accurate along with Killzone: Shadow Fall only scoring a 74. Not just for my personal tastes but in viewing the reactions of others who have played it.
Reviews are important. Anyone who says otherwise either doesn't grasp the idea of how many people rely on reviews to not make bad purchases or they just don't want to accept it. Just make sure that when you complain about a review average you're doing it because you legitimately felt the game deserved higher and not simply because you're just trying to avoid the reality of your hopes being smashed. A lot of people will complain about a game like Knack getting a 55 or so but I promise you that in a couple years many of those same people will dismiss the game as the garbage it is because they're no longer looking for justification since other games will have come since then that gave them what they were looking for. That being said, I hope you've enjoyed the game and your Xbox One and have a Merry Christmas! :D
ive agreed with most reviews so far. but with Max I do honestly believe it deserves nothing less than an 80. One of the most charming platformers ive played and i see no issue with the controls. Everybody ive talked to in person and heard from online are enjoying it which is why we've seen so many people defend it on IGN.
I enjoyed the game so it isnt my purshase that i care about anymore as i use reviews for reasons to purchase games. I care about this one because i think this game deserves to be noticed as it is a really good game and Press Play doesnt deserve to be repremanded by scores in this case.
Anyways I think a 3D Max would be good xD It has so much potential with the marker and puzzles in a 3d world
