Crackdown was more of a serious game, Saints Row IV is more of a comedy game, they're both good open world superpower games. Personally I liked the RPG aspect of Crackdown, the fact that your powers developed slowly over time as you used them, in Saints Row 4 they're kind of handed to you, you don't have to work very hard for your powers. Personally, I'd love to see both Crackdown 3 and Saints Row V with more of the superpower gameplay of IV.

I never played Crackdown, but I love Saints Row. My biggest concern is where do they go next? I mean how would they top superpowers. The lifetime sales won't be as great as 3, but I do hope they make another. I thought they sold well enough to be profitable, especially since they had major competition around the time. I do agree on your assessment of the super powers though, everything came so fast and makes everything really easy; never drive anymore too.

*NOTE I'm like 30% done, so no spoilers please :)

Hey Xbox One users I has a question. Do games have unlocks like for gamerpics like on 360? Unlocking gamerpics felt awesome rather than buying them.

Seems like Meta is ignoring the very high reviews, It's accepted
GamInformer = 60
3D Juego = 80
Vandal = 80
Gaming Age = 75

Meta says the score is 69...But it should be 73.75... =/

Still hasn't added
Softpedia = 90
Oxm = 90
DenOfGeek = 88

With them 3 reviews it should be 80/100

Edit- Seems like they do their average a different way, I don't really understand it Lol

Metaciritc isnt associated with those sites.

However the average score on metacritic should actually be 74, not 69.  Not sure why it is showing 69 as that is wrong.

Anyways, it doesnt matter too much.  Everybody seems to be enjoying it and really only one score is dragging it down.

Seems like a lot of people have been liking this game, Press Play's Facebook page has gotten thousands of likes since its release.

For a few reasons.

Its announcement of release was only a day ahead of time so reviewers were not aware.  It was also released on a friday which means a lot of review sites are closed on weekends.

Lastly it is the holiday period so reviewers are closed for that as well.  Or just simply busy.

Give it some time and they wil start to come.

Well, I won't spoil anything for you then, but suffice it to say that they do leave things open in such a way that they could potentially bring superpowers back. Also, the ending suggests how they'll top superpowers with something even better, and I think it'll be awesome. By the way, there's a good ending and a bad ending, if you want the good ending make sure that you do all of the loyalty missions before you do the last few main story missions. I definitely think they'll make Saints Row V, in fact, I recall hearing recently that one of the game's voice actors confirmed that a 5th game is in development (I hope it's next-gen).

Nice, I look forward to seeing that. Yeah the whole thing has a Mass Effect 2 vibe and I already checked the achievements and I plan on doing so. I'm starting the side quests and I'm a little disappointed that most of them are just glorified activities.

I read that article posted here too, I think/hope they will do so. And yes, I really hope they put it on next gen. Not sure if you are a South Park fan, but that's the last game I plan on buying for 360, really wish they'd make a next gen version.
