Dead Rising is almost any genre smashed into one game. Beat 'em up, Action, adventure, racing, open-world sandbox, sports and misc.

by the way it has been a while since VGC has updated there Hardware numbers. They need to get to that :P

YES! Ever since Thursday I've been waiting for them. It's really a big week for all systems. On the XBOX side of things there really seems to be a lot of supply out there so who knows how the numbers will go.

Last minute predictions (hopefully lol, put up the numbers vgchartz!)

360

USA: 150k
EU: 55k
JA: 600
WW: 250k

XBONE

USA: 150k
EU: 50k
WW: 225k

If you have a Xbox One and love platformers, get Max the curse of Brotherhood. This game is a lot of fun and the price is right too.

I think the Xbox One's numbers will be higher than that, but I could be wrong. The first day of that sales week, Sun Dec 8, Toys R Us released a shipment both online and in-stores that was apparently large enough for them to bother advertising it a few days early, that shipment was sold out online by Monday. Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop, Sam's Club, and Amazon all had Xbox One stock available online at various points throughout the week, Amazon in particular saw several shipments throughout the week and sales there were high enough for the Xbox One to stay in the top 5 on Amazon's video game charts throughout most of the week (and #1 quite often).

Microsoft's 2mil in 18 days claim means that 160k needed to be sold on Sunday and Monday in order for the claim to be accurate, since the Xbox One sits at 1.84 mil on VGchartz in the first 16 days, and since those 2 days were when the advertised Toys R Us sale was going on, it does suggest that Microsoft's claim was likely accurate. Assuming that Microsoft's claim was accurate, that 160k on Sunday and Monday alone would give the Xbox One a nice early week boost. Toss in the Best Buy, Gamestop, Walmart, Sam's Club, and Amazon shipments later in the week, and it seems to me that 8th-14th sales should be 400k worldwide at least. Now that may seem a bit on the high side given the fact that the previous week's sales were only 260k, but from what I've seen the Xbox One had limited stock that previous week, while the Xbox One was available online much more consistently during the 8th-14th according to the stock trackers, plus I've heard from several people who work at brick and mortar retailers that the Xbox One had more stock in stores that week as well.

You put a lot more thought into this than I did!

I just looked at the graphs and projected the lines lol.
