| shikamaru317 said: Has anybody here tried the Wii U pro controller? I find it intriguing, a symmetric controller with both of the sticks high and spread apart instead of low and cramped together. It could potentially be the only symmetric design that would feel right for me, or it could just feel awkward having the face buttons below the right trigger instead of above. |
Oh I love that controller too!
Basically the only controllers I didn't/don't like are PS1, PS2, N64, Dreamcast, OG XBOX Duke, OG XBOX S, Wii Remote, and 360.
Lol i never was sure how i was suppose to hold the N64 controller haha. I always held the middle and the right side.
I bought a lot of Third Party controllers for PS3 and wow, never actually saw the sega staturn 3D controller until now O.O That thing is hideous lol
Speaking of controllers. I liked the DreamCast controller. Other than it not having Dual analog sticks it was pretty good for its era.

Marvel Comes to Minecraft: X360 Edition
Microsoft Studios, Mojang and Marvel are excited to announce a partnership to bring Marvel’s Avengers skins to the world of “Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.” Coming soon will be an Avengers Skin Pack with 35 characters, including: Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Loki, Wasp, Falcon, Vision, Maria Hill, Agent Coulson and many more.

I also liked the Dreamcast controller, it's my 4th favorite modern/3D controller after Xbox S, Xbox 360, and Gamecube. My only issue with it is the lack of a 2nd analog stick. |
I'd prob say
1. XBO Controller
2. X360
3. Gamecube
4. WiiU Tablet (Only because I havent bought the Pro Controller yet)
5. Dreamcast
For my least favorites
1. Wii Dildo - c'mon they even give you rubbers with this thing :P This is the whole reason I didnt like the Wii, the only Nintendo console I didnt like. (no offense to anybody)
2. Dualshock 3 - Ps2 and PS1 was fine for the era that they was in. I just replaced DS3, console was brilliant otherwise for the most part.
3. N64 - Weird because it is actually one of my fav consoles.
4. XBOX COntroller -Thing was too damn big lol Good design, just too big. plus io didnt like the white black button locations.
Granted i actually enjoyed the N64 and XBOX controllers for their time. Just had complaints with them. The only two controllers I really disliked is the WiiMote and DS3

YES
I loved the wii when it first launched, but really quickly games started to have waggle replace buttons instead of making new experiences. The controller wasn't actually that bad, but what it did to the games was. I actually play Wii games in dolphin just so that I don't have to deal with the motion controls.
Also I'm surprised you didn't list move.

Never used PS Move other than once with my step brother. It seemed more accurate than the WiiMote but still hated it from what I did use of it. I dc for Kinect as a controller either. I like Kinect as a multimedia peripheral but not even Rare can get me interested in it as a complete controller replacement.
Yeah that is how i plyaed Skyward sword lol Though i couldnt replace the WiiMote settings so i eventually gave up on it.
