You can do all digital stuff with the disc in the drive, what you can't do obviously is go from disc based Dead Rising to disc based Forza without changing the discs. You can go from Killer Instinct, to disc based Forza, to Peggle 2, to TV though.

I feel like Microsoft has done a phenomenal job advertising X1, as a result i see why sales are high.

Like others have said, you can't instant switch between physical games. I would suggest doing something kind of like what I'm doing which is buying the games I know I won't want to resell or will be playing for long periods of time digitally and buying games that I know won't have as much replay value on disc.

I tend to buy every game I can on disc. I'll get a digital copy anyway when it becomes a game with gold.

Me I'm going full DD... I have already done that with software, music and video, since I don't resell a lot, I can't stand disc waste of space and unecological principal... And if there is the slightest hope the sharing plan comes back I want to be ready... Or other improvement or features that the cloud will provide for DD owners and they will come.. no doubt

Crazy thing is, buy.com does this like 6 times a year with ebay and noone acknowledges that you don't have to spend $60 for a year of Xbox Live.
