Perhaps it's worth taking this one with a pinch of salt, but if an image posted to an Italian forum is to be believed, publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games may be working on an enhanced package of both games from their popular Metro franchise, last visited in last year's spooky first person shooter Metro: Last Light.
The images come from a post on Italian gaming community Forumeye.it as spotted by users on NeoGAF, and appear to show a listing for a Metro Redux.
The first Metro title was entitled Metro 2033, and it's hard to grab these days, as it was originally published by the now defunct THQ. The series was then bought by Deep Silver at the same time as the publisher took on Saints Row and they released Metro Last Light in the middle of last year. We rather liked both games in the series, with both 2033 and Last Light getting respectable scores of 8.
If true, this new Redux package will contain an "enhanced" version of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, along with all the DLC for the latter game as well as a soundtrack and "art cards" and will be released for both Xbox One and PS4. The image also makes mention of a "Luglio 2014" release date - that's July in case your Italian is a little rusty.
There's no word from either 4A Games or Deep Silver on the legitimacy of this image, but if it is, expect to hear more very soon with that release date. Does this package sound appealing to you? Let us know in the comments.
