What changed? You can change the pink tiles to another better colour like green or blue. On Topic: I have Nokia Lumia 920. I am liking windows phone more than my previous Galaxy S2. The problem i have with phones is that they are getting bigger and bigger. If this trend follows than i might have to switch back to iPhone or some other alternative. |
Thats a bit of an unfair comparison dont you think? The nokia lumia 920 is much more recent than the GS2. Back then android was still trying to catch up to ios and windows phone was non existant (figuratively).

Research, Research, Research! Have a look at online reviews and see what they have to say about the various platforms and phones in that price range.
Also just remember that you asked for advice in an official X1 thread...so naturally sentiment towards WP8 might be a bit more positive than normal.

Really? Just because we love Xbox doesn't mean we're jumping on every MS product. I've never had a Windows phone in my life. Lol I've heard good things about it like the camera and achievements but I still love my Galaxy. Android's a great alternative for apps because I don't want to have to invest into the Apple ecosystem and I want better games than Win8 while being able to change batteries, connect easily to my PC, and transfer my files.

Yeah sentiment for WP8 has been weirdly positive since Noble asked for suggestions. None of which outlined the key negatives of the OS that actually has an impact on the buying decision. So unfortunately that has been the case, it doesnt have to be that way, but it has.
The best thing to do in this case is to do the research yourself IMO or ask someone you trust.

Do the research for me! what's negative about the windows phones? xD I want to know before I get either Samsung Galaxy S5 or whatever they announce next week if they do.. |
See my reply to noble. Its not so much negative really but just a need to be more cautious when moving over to WP.
- check if the apps you NEED are available on the OS
- check if you enjoy the OS by getting some hands on time with it
Thats it really. You should probably do the same when moving to android or ios..the only difference is that ios and android are very similar and probably do have the apps you want.
Has anybody got Dark Souls II in here? Im still patiently waiting for the PC Edition to come because the devs are assholes and felt like it was a good idea to not only not make it for next-gen but also make PC wait for an extra month to play the game -_-
