Wait. What? "Crazy Kim Jong-Un planning World War III...from his Xbox"

Lol

read the comment at the bottom of the article... apparently some people still think XB needs to be online... Ms really needs to make that clearer to the public...

I don't know about the sprint in Halo. The game is so much like COD to me right now. Increase the speed a lil bit I agree. I think the slow movement is what made it great. Increasing the baseline speed is a great idea tho but not to crazy. I remember you could do that in H3 custom actually.

Not really. At the time FPS characters and NPC didn't move fast.

Actions didn't happen in a frenetic way like it does today. If H2 releases the same way it did 10 years ago w/ basically just a graphic improvement, it will have the same fate as Halo Anniversary.

New poll should be what game are you most looking forward too. With Titanfall out the results should be interesting.

I'll just be watching it for the action scenes.

People want Halo 2 multiplayer to remain the same but by today's standard it was very slow. I hope 343i improves Chief's movement a little bit and shine those polygons. Nostalgia is a hell of goggle.

If they were to make a Halo 2 Anniversary (which we all they are) I hope they make the FOV bigger from 70 to 90.

Those are both good ideas. Spartan movement really was slow in Halo CE, 2, and 3. They should either increase base movement speed or add in the sprint from Halo 4. As for FOV, it didn't bother me when I played Halo 2 originally, but when I played Halo 2 for a few days before the servers were closed the low FOV bugged the heck out of me.

So:

  • Improved graphics, 60 fps, FOV 90
  • Same physics as original (except for increased movement speed)
  • Same maps with same or similar art design, including DLC maps (in other words Lockout should look like Lockout with better graphics, not have a completely different art style like Blackout in Halo 3)
  • Same weapon balance and weapon spawns on maps
  • Same ranking system
  • Playable Spartans and Elites
  • Gamebreaking glitches like superjumps and BXR disabled in matchmaking, but available as options in custom games
  • Certain features from later Halo games (online co-op campaign, armor customization, theater mode, Forge, file share, possibly sprint, possibly a co-op mode like Firefight, possibly certain game types that make sense for Halo 2)

Sprint and same maps? Won't work. Slightly increased speed though could...

It's going to be such a fine line of error here. Hopefully 343 pull through.

It's a 3rd person shooter/melee combat hybrid created by former Ninja Team developer and Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki at his new studio Valhalla Game Studios. It was originally planned for 360, PS3, and tablets, but it's believed that development may have switched to next-gen. It's a real shame that Microsoft didn't pick it up exclusively, could have been a decent system seller in Japan.

360, PS3 and Tablet....

Tablet? I'm losing intrest already!

Thanks. You should also consider Seece's idea for the next poll, most anticipated upcoming Xbox exclusive.

Quantum Break.

No contest imo.
