I liked Ghoulies ... more than Nuts & Bolts.

To be fair, rare have been complete dick teases since 2010, to say all they've done in the last 5/6 years is Kinect Sports is an incredibly bitter pill to swallow. However, I agree with you that their other games before those were fantastic.

On the plus side (at least on GAF) Viva gets the respect it deserves, has a huge following there.

Yeah, they have been teasing stuff for over a year now.  That is why ive had such a hard time believing that they havent been working on something since about november, but they do appear like KSR was there main focus.  Which im fine with simply because the tech behind it looks great and that will be shared qwith all first parties.

And yea. at ;east it has a huge following there.  Viva Pinatas was one of the most addicting games i played last gen.

I just get tired of the behavior, "well theyre not the old rare!"  But if people played Viva Pinata and Kameo especially, they understand that theyre more simlar than what people realize.

Well, even if I agree they're not the old rare (they're not, factually) I think it's time people got the **** over it. But then it never surprises me how people regurgitate the same old nonsense even years later.

IF MS cared, best thing they could do is reassemble an old age rare core team, and just let them do whatever they like with the old IP.

Im willing to take a bet that the next rare game that gets announced is a new ip.  The game after that will be an older franchise.  It just isnt like rare to go to old franchises.  They never have, theyre always focused on innovation, tehcnical achievement, and what is popular in the industry at that current moment.

I hope KI Season 2 launches with like 4 characters and great fanfare. I don't want them to dribble out 1 character every 6 weeks.

Also I reckon they could do a retail version with 12 characters and 4 more to come free (same as S1) it would do so so well at retail.

titanfall takes second place in Nordic chart, the Nordic regions include Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Xbox one has not released in ANY of those countries, those sales are based on people who imported for the xbox or pc sales ( dont think chart counts pc games though)

I agree, i hope they all come out at once, at least most of them.  I dont like the long waits personally.

The funny thing is, i guarantee if the same games were made for nintendo everything would be awesome.  Why?  Because those type of games fit nintendo consoles more than MSFT consoles.

Thought the exact same thing... People can't get over the "dudebro shooter" Xbox stigma.

Max, IMO, shows great promise for platformers on the One. Not sure about the sales though...

You think we'll see something else from Rare at E3?

How many teams does Insomniac have? I'm thinking at least 2? Were they working on Sunset whilst they were working on Fuse? And they always seem to be working on Ratchet.

Honestly I think if they ever revive Banjo or w/e giving it to Insomniac is their best bet.

If you look at their history as well, working on ratchet/resistance on PS3, they seem to be happy working on multiple exclusives for one console.

Unless theyve done a real good job at hiding what Rare has been up to im guessing that we wont see what Rare is working on until next year.  Theyre certainly one of the most diverse studios ranging from Sims, fighting games, platformers, shooters, beat em ups, party games, so it is hard to tell what they will be making next. About the only genre i havent seen them work on is an RPG.  From the people that they were hiring last year it appears they may be wanting to do a shooter though.

Id be happy with Insomniac working on Banjo :)

Idk how big inomniac is but yeah they seem to always be working on some kind of ratchet game.

E3 79 days away, what's in between???
