If its sci-fi, open world and new IP then I am sold. I am tired of god of war. Something new and refreshing is needed form sony santa monica.

It's obviously new IP so you shouldn't be worried about that. It's probaby the game Stig has been working on.

Stig Asmussen was the game director of God of War III - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stig_Asmussen

After God of War III it was revealed by David Jaffe that Stig was working on "cool stuff" - http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2012/04/19/game-director-stig-asmussen-doing-cool-stuff-at-sony-santa-monica-not-god-of-war-ascension/

So I just assume this is the game that he's working on.

I didn't knew that. I heard that there are two teams at santa monica just like ND. If its true then one team might be working for the new game for quite a long time.
