It is not only tecnology... it is habit too... today is a lot more easy to preorder than 2005/2006 and so the people are acquiring this habit.

Wii U preorder was way bigger than Wii but Wii had more sales at launch... it is easy to understand... and I can go with examples outside game market too.

Good news but kind of expected since the 360 was the successor to a console that only sold 24 million units.

same thing with ps4 pre-orders 4x times more than ps2 preorders................

Given the $100-200 more expensive price tag and horrible PR nightmare........this means hardly nothing.

ps4 won entire world wide and including USA............xbox one won't win NA this time around....only loyal fans would buy xbox because the brand...but they lost on price and hardware spec's.
