just a basic question really...
i bought a 60gb ps3 at eu launch and its quickly filling up now with nearly 40gb of data!
so its reached a point where i think (or know) i need to upgrade my HDD to about 250gb so my question is this...
when the ps3 backs up data does it also compress it? or am i gonna have to buy an external 40gb HDD to back my data up to?

I'm pretty sure it does not compress it, but the last time I backed up was shortly after launch to test out the alternate OS.
