Could be higher with better prices, but indeed it is not that high yet.

No news on the price yet? Brazil don´t have a PS4 price at this point, Sony is sucking politician cock to try to low some taxes, but the Xbox One is up for pre-orders here pretty much everywhere.

So.. is it working? Any political concessions on sales taxes listed in the chart in the first post?

Yeah. Doubt anything could be done about it though. The entire inflated, social welfare government of ours is basically a gigantic Ponzi pyramid with a life of its own. It would need to be completely redone in order to work properly.

Not yet, but there is talk, it is a star. The taxes are crazy, 71% on pistous and rifles and 72% on video games. Maybe we can change some of this. But to change a law in Brazil takes years, a lot of politician cock being sucked and money being received...

Not only that dude, but the pandemic corruption too, Don´t forget, in Brazil, it is estimated that, from every R$100 you give the government, around R$35 get stolen before it is used in the proper way.

I know we're in a better position but.. honestly politics is the same everywhere. Here in the UK we elected a party with essentially three single issues: no tuition fees, no nuclear, yes to the Euro. So far they are 0/3. As soon as they got power they literally ignored signed pledges to the contrary.

Unfortunately there is no price listed for both consoles... But if I had to guess given price of the Wii U, the PS 4 could be 5500 AR$ (on cheapest place to buy it) and the xbox one would be about... 8000 AR$ or even more. Taking in to account that a really good salary (if you have a family) is around 10 000 to 15 000 AR$ this consoles will be extremely expensive for the averge people.
