lol No,  I press for a better community.   I think VGC is very capable of having a great community if we can weed out trolls.  Of course there is no way of having a perfect community and VGC actually does good in a lot of ways but it could still improve on things.  If VGC allowed the word fanboys then you would see a lot more arguing on this website from people.  Every thread would probably end in an argument if this was the case.  Look at youtube comments and you will see what I am talking about.  People visit forums to talk about the hobby they love.  Not to be attacked.

If only he practiced what he just preached, then we finally wouldn't see him talking about Mario anymore.

I think vgchartz strikes a good balance in monitoring this site,but I just don't think they need to be overly aggresive and ban people for any little comment. If that was the case,then people would be afraid to have an honest and open discussion about anything. I like the fact that it's taken on a case bye case basis. 

The problem is not that someone is behaving like a fanboy.  Often times people gets called a fanboy for just liking a company's game such as Killzone more than halo.  Example  would be "I like Killzone more than halo".  Then user number 2 comes and says "Wow, you must be some kind of fanboy."  pr something of that nature.  It should never be allowed for these reasons.  Fanboy is actually allowed on this site, just dont use it as a way of insulting somebody.

Calling a spade a spade should not be a bannable offense. 

I know, I dont mean ban the word dudebro, casuals, etc.  But if used in the context of an insult it should be just like fanboy and be banned.  Fanboy also gets banned only in  the form of an insult.  Fanboy is not specificly banned on it's own.

I have noticed many gamers on forums including VGC use the word dudebro as an insult or poking fun of those type of gamers and honestly I dont understand how this isn't bannable.  I for one can be considered a dudebro gamer as I play games such as Madden, NBA, and god forbid Call of Duty.  i know, I'm a horrible person for liking these games. And i know that Im not the only one who plays these games on forums. People often time use dudebro as an insult (just because they don't like something) towards games and I think that is ridiculous.  That would be like people calling JRPG games and MMO's etc nerd fest games etc.  Those same gamers who make fun of dudebro wouldnt want their genres poked fun at either.

Same goes to dance games, move games, kinect games, or anything to do with motion controls.  They are often insulted as girly games or casuals.  That is meant as an insult from many people.  The thing is, they are games and if people enjoy them let them.  Not everybody likes the same type of games as you so there is no need to insult genres just because you dont like them.

Let me be clear.  Anybody can like a specific game whether they are a girl, guy, dudebro, nerd, etc.  They are games and should be classified as what they are and not some derogatory term to poke fun and a specific type of gamer.

You think fanboy should be allowed as well so i'm not really taking you too serious to be honest(no offense, i just disagree with you completely even though i do see your point.)  If i see a nerd in real life I dont go up to them an call them a nerd.  It's childish behavior and can emotionally hurt that person.  Of course the internet works a little different but the same morals should be considered none the less.
