The Monday news! Now, before you scroll down, let me warn you that, because of the sheer number of news, I've split them in two groups: newly announced games plus games with first videos/screenshots and then known games with just new info, trailers, screenshots, etc. The first group will get the usual treatment while the second group will only have a headline and the link to the article. And how, let's go for it!

BE WARNED: All the news are in 2 posts and both a very, very long, specially the second one.

A Musical Story is a 70s-inspired rhythm game about the memories of a dying guitarist
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/a-musical-story-is-a-70s-inspired-rhythm-game-about-the-memories-of-a-dying-guitarist/
At the Day of the Devs showcase, we got another look at A Musical Story, one of what can now be called a generation of engrossing rhythm games like Unbeatable or Sayonara Wild Hearts that want to tell a story rather than giving you largely unconnected levels and songs to jam through. It's intriguing, because AMS's striking visual style and music directly relate to the story it wants to tell.

Behind the Frame is chill anime-inspired puzzle with strong Ghibli vibes
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/behind-the-frame-is-chill-anime-inspired-puzzle-with-strong-ghibli-vibes/
There's something about the trailer for Behind the Frame that just calms you down immediately. It begins with a painter dropping her brush, and instead of immediately picking it up, she stretches leisurely. You can see her sun-dappled apartment, paintings on the walls, lush greenery on a table, and the atmosphere is set.

Final Form looks more Metroid than anything Nintendo's done recently
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/final-form-looks-more-metroid-than-anything-nintendos-done-recently/

This weird new horror game is inspired by creepy Nordic fairytales
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/this-weird-new-horror-game-is-inspired-by-creepy-nordic-fairytales/
Revealed at the IGN Expo, this is one of the weirdest trailers to come out of E3 so far. The game's called Bramble: The Mountain King, which developer Dimfrost Studio describes as an "adventure/horror game focused on atmospheric environments, high-end graphics, cinematic moments, and casual gameplay." The trailer, a mix of cutscenes and Playdead-esque side-scrolling platforming, establishes the mood brilliantly, with some surreal folk horror imagery.

Crossfire: Legion is a 'classic RTS' being developed by the makers of Homeworld 3
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/crossfire-legion-is-a-classic-rts-being-developed-by-the-makers-of-homeworld-3/
Crossfire is a popular competitive FPS in Asia, particularly in China and South Korea, but has only started to make inroads into Western markets relatively recently: Remedy is developing the singleplayer campaign for CrossfireX, although that unfortunately still hasn't been confirmed for PC.
One new addition to the series that is definitely coming our way, however, is Crossfire: Legion, a brand-new RTS being developed by Homeworld 3 studio Blackbird Interactive.

Psychological thriller Broken Pieces reminds me of Silent Hill and Syberia
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/psychological-thriller-broken-pieces-reminds-me-of-silent-hill-and-syberia/
Fixed camera angles. Clunky animations. Clues written in a lined notebook. Moving block puzzles. Oh yes, I'm definitely getting early 2000s 3D adventure game vibes from Broken Pieces, which showed up with a new trailer at the IGN Expo on Friday.

Core Keeper looks kind of like Stardew Valley, but in a cave
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/core-keeper-looks-kind-of-like-stardew-valley-but-in-a-cave/
Announced during IGN's livestream today, Core Keeper is a co-op adventure set in "an endless cavern of creatures, relics, and resources." The trailer instantly reminded me of Stardew Valley, if all of Stardew Valley were moved into its caves.

Douse fires, save people, and fly on a firehose in Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/douse-fires-save-civilians-and-fly-on-a-firehose-in-firegirl-hack-n-splash-rescue/
Firegirl: Hack 'n Splash Rescue is a game about a girl who is a firefighter—but not just a firefighter. She uses her high-pressure fire hose as a sort of retro-rocket to fly through the air as she searches crumbling buildings, battles fire monsters, rescues survivors, and works to unravel the mystery behind why the world is falling apart in such a drastic, dramatic fashion.

Grime is a trippy new Metroidvania featuring living weapons and a bizarre art style
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/grime-is-a-trippy-new-metroidvania-featuring-living-weapons-and-a-bizarre-art-style/
One of the weirdest new games shown at this year's Guerrilla Collective indie showcase was Grime, "a fast and unforgiving action RPG in which you crush your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function." That's a pretty wild premise. And based on the trailer, developer Clover Bite isn't afraid to get weird, describing its game as featuring "eye-popping surrealism."

No Longer Home is a point-and-click adventure about the anxiety of moving out
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/no-longer-home-is-a-point-and-click-adventure-about-the-anxiety-of-moving-out/
No Longer Home looks like an intensely intimate game. It's a semi-biographical point-and-click adventure about two university students, Bo and Ao, reconciling with the reality that their lives are about to drastically change. They've both just graduated university and are about to be separated as Ao returns to Japan, and No Longer Home depicts their final weeks together as players explore the flat, have conversations with friends, and take part in simple activities like playing videogames together or having a BBQ.

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/akatori-has-that-neo-geo-look-i-cant-get-enough-of/
Over on the Guerrilla Collective livestream today, a bit of gameplay for upcoming metroidvania Akatori made an appearance, showing off the game's first boss. There' a copy of the trailer embedded above.

Archvale looks like a 2D Zelda, apart from the thousands of bullets
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/archvale-looks-like-a-2d-zelda-apart-from-the-thousands-of-bullets/
Verdi's requiem is perhaps the most frequently performed choral work in the classical canon: and with good reason. It's such a banger that even churches used to think it was a bit much, and you hear it all over the place because, well, it makes things seem a lot cooler. Archvale has several clever ideas, but a particularly good one was setting the above trailer to the requiem, because now I am pumped to play a 2D RPG jammed with guns. It's what Verdi would have wanted.

This cute management sim looks Animal Crossing in a casino
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/this-cute-management-sim-looks-animal-crossing-in-a-casino/
I haven't played Animal Crossing: New Horizons but I know it has some kind of turnip-based stock market that functions a bit like gambling. But Blooming Business: Casino looks like it's taking the next logical step. In this cute-looking sim you design, build, and manage a casino filled with adorable animal guests.

Convert your dad's boring laundromat into a ripping arcade in Arcade Paradise
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/convert-your-dads-boring-laundromat-into-a-ripping-arcade-in-arcade-paradise/
Arcade Paradise, an upcoming indie game that got a new trailer today during the Guerilla Collective stream, will finally let me fulfill a lifelong dream of owning a dingy arcade in 1993.

Make friends with tea-loving cat customers in this cozy teahouse sim
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/make-friends-with-tea-loving-cat-customers-in-this-cozy-teahouse-sim/
This year's Wholesome Direct at E3 seems to have a very common theme—cats and cosiness. Kitten Cup Studio's Pekoe looks to be blending those two perfectly, being a game all about running a small teahouse for cats while you make friends with your feline customers.

Lego Builder's Journey is a charming puzzle game out this month
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/lego-builders-journey-is-a-charming-puzzle-game-out-this-month/
Well here's a very different sort of Lego game. There are no Star Wars characters or wisecracks in Lego Builder's Journey, which was showcased in Saturday's Wholesome Games Direct. Check out the trailer above to see what I mean.
>> It's an Nvisia RTX branded game. You know what that means.

Sally looks like Animal Crossing set on Howl's Moving Castle
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/sally-looks-like-animal-crossing-set-on-howls-moving-castle/
Announced today, Sally is a new game under development by Lucid Tales and, well, try pigeonholing this one. The above trailer shows a girl finding a frog with some delight, showing it off to various other NPCs, and then a pullback reveal that is simply awesome.

Jump back into the art scene and sell out in Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/jump-back-into-the-art-scene-and-sell-out-in-passpartout-2-the-lost-artist/
Announced during the Wholesome Direct E3 stream, Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist is back to take the art world by storm.
According to the trailer, Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist seems like it has you take over your missing father's art shop while hopefully solving the mystery of his disappearance. Oh, and make some money.

Be an adorable magic school student in Witchery Academy
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/be-an-adorable-magic-school-student-in-witchery-academy/
Who's up for a bit of witchery? Everyone, I expect, especially if it's cute witchery. Witchery Academy is an upcoming life sim from indie developers Cubenary, one where your apprentice wizard and equally adorable cat spirit will attend wizard school to learn vital wizardy skills. Skills such as: Growing magic vegetables, casting spells, caring for and catching spell creatures, and brewing potions. We got to see more of it in action during the Wholesome Games Direct. Check out the trailer above.

Become the Baba Yaga in the open-world horror-adventure Blacktail
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/become-the-baba-yaga-in-the-open-world-horror-adventure-blacktail/
The Baba Yaga is a creature of Slavic folklore, often appearing as a twisted crone and generally (but not always) portrayed as deeply wicked in nature: In one tale, cited in Wikipedia, Baba Yaga helped a man find his missing bride, but she has a wider and more well-established reputation for things like, say, stealing and eating children, or—in a slightly more modern take—killing three men with a pencil.

Be a trigger-happy spellcaster in co-op survival sandbox Wizard with a Gun
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/be-a-trigger-happy-spellcaster-in-co-op-survival-sandbox-wizard-with-a-gun/
I think there's something inherently funny about a wizard pulling a gun out of his cloak and just blasting away. I guess since they're usually cooking up mysterious spells or waving magic wands, seeing one whip out a pistol and put a bit of lead into someone just feels so out of place.

17-Bit's VR survival game Song in the Smoke is looking lively
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/17-bits-vr-survival-game-song-in-the-smoke-is-looking-lively/
If you picked a developer to make a VR survival game, it probably wouldn't be Galak-Z and Skulls of the Shogun developer 17-Bit. Nonetheless, 17-Bit is going for it with survival game Song in the Smoke, which comes to PC VR and Oculus Quest this summer. A new look at the game from the Upload VR Showcase has a nice-looking overview of what Jake Kazdal and team want to accomplish.

Grow your own worlds in Grow: Song of the Evertree
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/grow-your-own-worlds-in-grow-song-of-the-evertree/
The indie developers at Prideful Sloth say their next game "follows the cozy gaming movement", and its pastel, pastoral vibe sure seems to fit the bill. Grow: Song of the Evertree is a world-building sandbox where you're an alchemist caring for a gigantic tree that grows miniature worlds on its outstretched branches.

Contraband is a 1970s co-op smuggling game from the Just Cause team
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/contraband-is-a-1970s-co-op-smuggling-game-from-the-just-cause-team/
Avalanche Studios, the folks behind Mad Max, Rage 2, and Just Cause are building a new co-op open world game. While we didn't get a look at any gameplay, a short teaser trailer debuted during Microsoft's Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, taking us on a short tour of a cluttered warehouse.

Somerville is Inside set during an alien apocalypse, and it's coming next year
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/somerville-is-inside-set-during-an-alien-apocalypse-and-its-coming-next-year/

Slime Rancher 2 will be bouncing onto PC in 2022
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/slime-rancher-2-will-be-bouncing-onto-pc-in-2022/

Forza Horizon 5 is headed to Mexico this November and lordy it looks nice
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/forza-horizon-5-headed-to-mexico-this-november-and-lordy-it-looks-nice/
Forza Horizon 5 is coming November 9, heading to Mexico this time around. Just announced at Microsoft's Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, Forza Horizon 5 is looking sharp in its debut trailer, where we see some new ray-tracing and photogrammetry tech in action. It's definitely the best Forza has ever looked, with some huge dust storms, lush vegetation, and volcanic scenes.
>> It says "Windows 10 PC", which means that it may not come to Steam.

The Outer Worlds 2 is coming, that's it, that's the news
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-outer-worlds-2-is-coming-thats-it-thats-the-news/
Hyper-corporate action RPG The Outer Worlds likes its satire, so it's probably no surprise that the announcement for The Outer Worlds 2 during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase came in form of a trailer that basically made fun of game trailers.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and new spin-off announced for Xbox Game Pass at launch
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/eiyuden-chronicle-hundred-heroes-announced-for-xbox-game-pass-at-launch/

https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/arkane-studios-next-game-is-redfall-a-left-4-dead-shooter-but-with-vampires/
At the end of the Xbox and Bethesda E3 showcase, we got a wonderful surprise: Arkane Austin, the developers of Prey and Dishonored, are working on a new game that looks an awful lot like Left 4 Dead but with vampires and just a sprinkle of Stranger Things' '80s aesthetic.
>> In this one it says "PC Game".

Replaced is the cyberpunk platformer where you've been downloaded into a person
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/replaced-is-the-cyberpunk-platformer-where-youve-been-downloaded-into-a-person/
The 2.5D action platformer debuted its trailer as part of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, showing us a glowing red DOS-esque interface before cutting to some people running across a forest under an ominous siren. The main character is an AI that has been downloaded into a person, and they're probably not too thrilled about it—judging by the way they punch out the first person they properly encounter once they get into the city.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will have no DLC or microtransactions
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/marvels-guardians-of-the-galaxy-will-have-no-dlc-or-microtransactions/
Announced at Square Enix's E3 showcase, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a new game that, unlike the recent Avengers game by Crystal Dynamics, will be singleplayer and won't include DLC or microtransactions, says Eidos-Montréal. There will be a few unlockable costumes, though.

This newly revealed Final Fantasy game is so bad it's good
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/final-fantasy-origin-stranger-of-paradise-trailer/
Final Fantasy 16 was not at Square Enix's E3 showcase, but another Final Fantasy was—and my god it's so cheesy I can't help but like it. Developed by Team Ninja, Final Fantasy Origin very much looked like a Dark Souls clone set in the world of the very first Final Fantasy from back in 1987.

Bombastic sports RPG Dodgeball Academia to hit PCs this August
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/bombastic-sports-rpg-dodgeball-academia-to-hit-pcs-this-august/
Always remember the five D's of dodgeball: dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge. Sounds pretty simple, but it's another thing in practice. Thankfully, Brazillian game studio Pocket Trap has announced its new sport RPG Dodgeball Academia, so you can put that theory to the ultimate test.

Rawmen is a saucy third-person shooter with a name that does not lie
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/rawmen-is-a-saucy-third-person-shooter-with-a-name-that-does-not-lie/
Rawmen is exactly what it sounds like, but it's not that. I respect your wild imagination, but this is a family website. No, Rawmen is exactly what it sounds like in that it is obviously a game about nearly nude people using the power of food to compete and enact comic violence upon one another. And here's a brand new family-friendly trailer that just debuted at the PC Gaming Show.

The more arms the better in stylish side-scroller They Always Run
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/the-more-arms-the-better-in-stylish-side-scroller-they-always-run/
Why do they always run? I dunno, mate, but it's probably got something to do with the three gun-toting arms you're packing.
Jetting in during the PC Gaming Show, They Always Run is a side-scrolling cyberpunk space western that puts you in the boots of an alien bounty hunter, traipsing across the galaxy in search of your next paycheck. Granted, this might just mean hauling cargo or acquiring valuable treasure—but admittedly yes, most of the time you'll be hacking and slashing through criminal goons.

GigaBash is a cute and chaotic kaiju brawler that makes me miss arcades
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/gigabash-is-a-cute-and-chaotic-kaiju-brawler-that-makes-me-miss-arcades/
If you, like me, watched Godzilla vs. Kong back in April and ended up thinking about how surprisingly fun the old Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters brawler was, you'll probably light up as soon as you see Gigabash, which debuted a new trailer at the PC Gaming Show on Sunday. Malaysian indie developer Passion Republic Games is making a four-player kaiju brawler with some appropriately over-the-top attacks and transformations (that's my way of saying that, one of the characters is a three-eyed snail).

Next Space Rebels is an amateur rocketry sim that's also about taking back the internet
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/next-space-rebels-is-an-amateur-rocketry-sim-thats-also-about-taking-back-the-internet/
For years I had a model rocket kit tucked away in my childhood bedroom. The rocket body was a simple cardboard tube with a couple fins on it, and it came with more solid fuel "engines" than I could use in the two times I actually took the kit somewhere to launch it. It's a good thing, in hindsight, that I didn't have access to a game like Next Space Rebels, because I might've actually tried taping spray paint cans to something that could plausibly explode. What could go wrong?

WarTales is a gritty mercenary epic from the makers of Northgard
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/wartales-is-a-gritty-mercenary-epic-from-the-makers-of-northgard/
During the PC Gaming Show, Shiro Games—the studio responsible for Northgard, Evoland, and Darksburg—revealed its next project, WarTales. A strategy game in a medieval setting, WarTales gives you command of a mercenary company, challenged with keeping them fed and paid as you explore plague-ravaged kingdoms. It's got a strategy layer that's part survival, part management sim. Then there's the turn-based battles, of course.

Ixion is a space station management sim with strong Frostpunk vibes
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/ixion-is-a-space-station-management-sim-with-strong-frostpunk-vibes/
As you can see in the trailer for Ixion, shown on The PC Gaming Show today, Earth has fallen on even harder times. Pollution, global warming, and competition for dwindling resources have given rise to the need to find a new planet for humanity to call home. Thankfully the Dolos corporation's Tycoon Station, a futuristic space ark, can take us on a galactic search for a new planet to ruin call home.

Far: Changing Tides is a lonely post-apocalyptic voyage, coming late 2021
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/far-changing-tides-is-a-lonely-post-apocalyptic-voyage-coming-late-2021/
During this year's PC Gaming Show, indie developer Okomotive announced its newest contemplative adventure game Far: Changing Tides. It's a direct follow up to the studio's previous game, Far: Lone Sails, but instead of driving a beaten-up vehicle across a wasted landscape, this time you'll be sailing through uncharted waters.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters is a new tactical RPG coming next year
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/warhammer-40000-chaos-gate-daemonhunters-is-a-new-tactical-rpg-coming-next-year/
Frontier Developments has teamed up with Complex Games and Games Workshop for a new turn-based tactical RPG set in the Warhammer 40K universe called Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, featured at the PC Gaming Show.

Lumberhill is a log-chopping party game, with pandas
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/lumberhill-is-a-log-chopping-party-game-with-pandas/
Admittedly, I don't know much about chopping trees. So I'm ready to believe the developer of co-op party game Lumberhill when they tell me that being abducted by pterodactyls is as much a part of the lumberjack experience as flannel shirts.

Solve all your problems by chucking pocket-sized aliens at them in Tinykin
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/solve-all-your-problems-by-chucking-pocket-sized-aliens-at-them-in-tinykin/
During this year's PC Gaming Show, developers tinyBuild announced Tinykin, a new sci-fi platformer adventure. It's the year 2748 and you play as a young scientist named Milo who has re-discovered Earth. Milo transports himself to the planet only to discover that he's turned himself into the size of a thimble.

Wake up and roll the dice in interstellar RPG Citizen Sleeper
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/wake-up-and-roll-the-dice-in-interstellar-rpg-citizen-sleeper/
Look. If Deep Space 9 taught me anything, it's that you can't have a seedy space station without a bit of gambling. So it goes in Citizen Sleeper, a risk-driven RPG where you're rolling the dice every single time you get up in the morning.

Project Warlock 2 is going all-out with more guns and 'vertical as hell' levels
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/project-warlock-2-is-going-all-out-with-more-guns-and-vertical-as-hell-levels/
The original Project Warlock, a throwback FPS which released in 2018, married the flat sprites and level design of Wolfenstein 3D with modern progression systems and extensive weapon upgrades. (...)
Now graduated and with a full game's worth of experience, Cislo and the rest of Buckshot Software are going all-out with Project Warlock 2, which was properly debuted today at the PC Gaming Show 2021 with a new trailer.

Esports Boxing Club brings 100 fighters to Early Access this year, with more to come
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/esports-boxing-club-brings-100-fighters-to-early-access-this-year-with-more-to-come/
This weekend Creed Champions gave us a look at some famous fictional boxers coming to PC. But if you're looking for less of an arcade game and more of a realistic boxing simulator, Esports Boxing Club is lining up 100 real boxers for you. And that's just to start.

KeyWe is a very cute puzzle game starring mail birds out this August
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/keywe-is-a-very-cute-puzzle-game-starring-mail-birds-out-this-august/
I don't feel like I need to work very hard to explain the appeal of KeyWe, a game where you control kiwi birds at a remote post office. As I've established, if your game stars a bird I'm already interested, and mail birds? Double-sold.

Gameshow shooter Deathrun TV has a 'pilot episode' you can play now
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/game-show-shooter-deathrun-tv-has-a-pilot-episode-you-can-play-now/
Deathrun TV had its world premiere on the Future Games Show, where host Troy Baker called it "a game show shooter where you earn likes for dunkin' on competitors, and causing a little wanton destruction." It looks like The Running Man crossed with The Binding of Isaac—a top-down shooter with zombies, traps, mobile mines, and some kind of horned blob monster, where your score is based on how many likes the audience give your performance.

Tails of Iron's trailer spins a tale of brutal animal faction warfare, narrated by Geralt
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/tails-of-irons-trailer-spins-a-tale-of-brutal-animal-faction-warfare-narrated-by-geralt/
I have decided that I could listen to Doug Cockle talk about anything. It appears that Geralt's voice actor has used his gravely vocal talents to narrate the trailer for upcoming RPG adventure game Tails of Iron, which premiered during this year's Future Games Show.

Project Ferocious is a survival FPS on dino island
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/project-ferocious-is-a-survival-fps-on-dino-island/
During this year's Future Games Show we saw a glimpse of an upcoming survival shooter codenamed Project Ferocious. That's a codename good enough to keep for the finished project, like Untitled Goose Game, because it fits perfectly. Project Ferocious is an FPS set on an island full of prehistoric monsters—a mysterious lost world where the well-armed human inhabitants are as dangerous as the dinosaurs.

Solve a mystery from your window in Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/solve-a-mystery-from-your-window-in-conway-disappearance-at-dahlia-view/
Once a private investigator, always a private investigator. At least, that's how it is for Conway, a retired PI who finds himself pulled back into a web of conspiracies after a young girl goes missing from the neighbourhood.

Her Story creator Sam Barlow's next game is a decades-spanning Hollywood thriller
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/her-story-creator-sam-barlows-next-game-is-a-decades-spanning-hollywood-thriller/
Sunday's Future Games Show came to a cinematic finish with the announcement of Immortality, a decades-spanning Hollywood mystery from Her Story and Telling Lies creator Sam Barlow.

Warcry: Challenges is an FPS about speeding through short levels, looks potentially badass
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/warcry-challenges-is-an-fps-about-speeding-through-short-levels-looks-potentially-badass/
Phew, I like the look of this one. The name Warcry Challenges didn't inspire me when I heard it (maybe I was just thinking of Warface, a different game) and the developer describes it as the answer to the question, "What if Doomguy had a drunk one night stand with Super Meat Boy?" It didn't really register for me what that meant when I heard it at the Future Games Show, but the trailer above sorted it all out.

Abzu meets Limbo in brutal underwater adventure Silt
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/abzu-meets-limbo-in-brutal-underwater-adventure-silt/
If you've got a fear of the ocean and its watery depths, Spiral Circus' game, Silt, isn't going to soothe your nerves. Quite the opposite, actually. It's an adventure game showcased at this year's PC Gaming Show that shows an underwater world filled with deep-sea goliaths who are ready to eat you alive.

New Blood Interactive hid 5 new games inside a trailer for a bunch of other games
https://www.pcgamer.com/uk/new-blood-interactive-hid-5-new-games-inside-a-trailer-for-a-bunch-of-other-games/
New Blood Interactive is back at the PC Gaming Show this year to remind of us all the cool games it's making. The sizzle reel includes a brief look at Fallen Aces, Ultrakill, Dusk 82, Amid Evil's The Black Labyrinth expansion, Unfortunate Spacemen, Faith: The Unholy Trinity, Gloomwood, and a look at Dusk mods.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Around the Network

AMD Radeon RX 6600M (Navi 23) mobile GPU gets tested

https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-radeon-rx-6600m-navi-23-mobile-gpu-gets-tested

"The reviewer is comparing GeForce RTX 3050 Ti with a maximum TGP of 80W (+15W Dynamic Boost), RTX 3060 with 115W (+15W with Dynamic Boost), and Radeon RX 6600M at 100W TGP default with 20W headroom with Smart Shift, which this graphics card supports. In other words, all GPUs are running at their full potential"

As always, take these Chinese benchmarks with a grain of salt as the drivers usually hasn't gotten finalized and laptops can be all over the place with power/cooling/ram etc. Still, judging from how the 6800M performs against the 3080, I wouldn't be surprised of the 6600M loses to a 3060. Ironic as mobile would have been the one place I would have thought that AMD would be leading considering how the Desktops perform in Raster against Nvidia with the efficiency of TSMC's 7nm. Another interesting point:

STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl Weighs in at a Massive 150GB

Asus M16 - The Cost of Using Intel...

Dave compares Asus M16 with i9 11900 + 3060 vs G15 with Ryzen 5900HS + 3070. You would think that the 3070 would win but they are surprisingly close. Maybe it's another case where the G15 has it's ram gimped and we know how important the RAM is with Ryzen. But the interesting thing is, while the M16 is a better laptop overall even outside of the performance as the screen is quite good and gives you gen 4 ssds, the Intel version has some issues. Even though it's thicker and has adjustments to make the airflow better, the noise is significantly louder and has 1 hour less battery life.

As a side note, the Steam Page is up:

I do like the commitment from MS to put all their games on steam. As I am really looking forward to Horizon 5 as I loved Horizon 4, I'll buy it instead of just using it on gamepass. Seeing how it will be 30fps on the Series X at 4k with an optional 60fps, I get the feeling it will be a heavy game to run. Least it looks hella pretty!

Thanks for the steam link. I still don't trust MSoft and think that they'll go back to put them all in their own store.

In any case, I'm not a fan of the Horizon series, but I hope the next Motorsport comes soon and on Steam as well.

Also, lol at the size of Stalker 2. And some of us hoped that game sizes wouldn't grow a lot this gen. Ha! 1TB drives will seem small in no time.

I can honestly say that Stranger of Paradise is one of the worse trailers i've ever seen. I think its one of the only game trailers ever i had to turn off after hearing one of the characters talking.
